Wintreath's Clicking Werewolf Assassins in Stardew Valley
Next time, Werewolf IN Stardew Valley
Next week's edition will be dedicated to everything we have planned for the Summersend Festival, which will run from August 26th to September 4th. From all the new games we're playing in Wintreath though, you might think the festival has already started!
Assassins Going At Each Other on Discord
This week started with Chanku running her first game of Assassins, a simple but fun game on the Discord server. At the beginning of the game, each player is given a target. When the target posts on the Discord, the player replies immediately below them with a kill message, eliminating them from the game. If the player misses (someone else posts right before they do), they're exposed and any player can target them, and the game ends when there's one player left.
The first game went great, with Arenado winning with 3 kills. Marzipan ran the second game in Chanku's place while she recovered from COVID (we're glad you're feeling better now!), with updated rules that made the game even better. Altrio was the victor of that game with 4 kills. Signups for the third game are open until August 19th, so if you'd like to try out for the game just DM Marzipan on Discord!
Peace and Serenity in Our New Stardew Valley Server
Shortly afterwards, Neon opened her multiplayer Stardew Valley server, with slots for 9 players including herself. The server is always-on, meaning that players can come and go as they please, though there's been talk of also having game nights on the server so we get a lot of people on at the same time. Having spent some time on the server myself, I can say that it's even more fun than playing single-player, and is remarkably stable as well.

Pandemic Intrigue and Suspicion Set for the Next Werewolf Game
Signups for the
next Werewolf game opened this week too, with
TGN set to host Werewolf 29. This game will take place as NW-B-22 begins ravaging the city and the call goes out for all doctors to report to their labs. What will happen next? We don't know, but with mechanics never seen before in Wintreath Werewolf and many new players that are new to Werewolf, anything could happen!

And a Clicker Free-For-All on the Forums
Finally, I (
Wintermoot) released the first of a series of
Clickwar test games to make sure the game is up to par for Summersend. Clickwar is our somewhat-MMO clicker game, where players capture and defined territory by...what else, clicking them. The first test game features modernized backend code (the last game was played in 2019) and a new Capitols mechanic, which includes restrictions on where players can attack/defend (only their own territories or those surrounding them). At the end of a very busy game,
Marzipan topped the Legacy Leaderboard while
Ruguo topped the Owner Leaderboard.
And this is in addition to our regular games like Cards Against Humanity (won by Rewan Demontay this week) and poker (won by Dawsinian). With so much going on already, how many more things can we do? We're going to find out next week as I detail all the games, booths, and events that we plan to run for Summersend! Until then, stay frosty.

Vote in the Landsraad Chancellor Elections!Our first election for Chancellor of the Landsraad (Wintreath's open assembly legislature made up of all Citizens) has started, with some very strong candidates vying for the position:

The Stigya Commendation Act officially passed the Landsraad, making it the first act enacted by the new(er) legislature and making
Stigya (
The Stigyan Triumvirate) the first person commended in Wintreath since November 2020. The act specifically recognizes Stigya's efforts in founding and leading WARPP, revitalizing the roleplay community, authoring a book set in his nation, and serving as Thane and then Jarl of Regional Affairs. Congratulations to Stigya on his commendation!
