Game Over on Round 5 Day

Here goes my last free post of the day, lol.

@ExLight - I saw the post saying you figured it out, but just in case, I'm pretty sure Aren isn't the SK but instead FOUND the SK, which is Dolby. Also, I'm putting Lau in the more likely town than 3rd party category because his NL power only blocks scum kills, assuming Dolby is SK. If Dolby flips as scum, then Lau's alignment is 3rd party.

Since I currently believe Lau is Town, I want his towny NL powers to be maxed, so I'm voting NL instead of Dolby. Again, if Dolby flips as scum and not a 3rd party, I'll conclude Lau is 3rd party as well and fight all future NLs.

@Michi - Well played! I will be sad to see those very entertaining posts go though. They were very fun.

In general: the list of people with post restrictions is GloriousBob (dead), Vro, Aren, Ruguo, me. Michi faked and Marz is faking.

I'm also inferring from the flavor that Michi found the Detective.

How do you come to that from what they posted.

I'm ok TDoming Aren I guess but flat out I think you're misreading or misconstruing

Also I am fairly certain that GloriousBob did not have a post restriction and was insteead choosing to just post like that.

I'm going to save 3 posts for night, this shall be my last post

extreme suggestion but in a situational scenario having the players with restrictions to break them (most are lurking or inactive anyway so if they get punished over doing so it won't make MUCH difference) so we know which ones are faking it and which ones are telling the truth could be useful
of course this dances around the border of game ethics so we'd have to make sure the host is fine with this sort of strategy because depending on what terms we're working here it could be problematic

although it's fairly obvious a decent chunk of players is obviously lying about it already

You're trying to win a game of Werewolf by breaking the rules?

Again you're trying too hard to make people seems "evil" or scummy.

Them getting punished for breaking a post restriction of their role =/= breaking the rules. The rules are what's written on the OP, getting killed by the host due to breaking a pre-set condition of your role is still a part of your role, not a rule infringement.

And as I said it would require clarification with the host first whether or not they're comfortable with this strategic use of the downside of the roles then they can always publicly announce such and edit the OP to add a rule against it.

I thought yall were hinting at Aersol being the SK, not Dolby

Do you know what Laurentus' role does? Because keep in mind that whatever his No Lynch thing is about it might not be pro-town despite his alignment being town (as I mentioned before him changing alignments or simply winning through an alt wincon seems like a more likely possibility, otherwise he'd be engaged in scumhunting regardless)

Yeah that’s kinda… hm. I get the thought process but there’s gotta be a better way than pushing people to break the rules- especially with how sadistic our host is. The consequences could be worse than you anticipate. 

Vote: Vroendal Fair enough, all valid points thus far. NL probably isn’t going to get us anywhere and we need to start getting some useable information.

And RE @Melehan ‘s “Marz is faking”, I’m not post restricted nor am I claiming to be. Trying (poorly) to RP/drop hints at my character, hence why there hasn’t been any punishment for my lack of ability in being able to keep it up as well

No. This isn't Evil or scummy. This transcends the spectrum of "scummy" or "towny". I'm just genuinely understand why you'd suggest this. I assume that you didn't mean it in a particularly bad or negative way, so please note that I'm not trying to accuse you of anything here/act condescendingly. You're a great player. But completely OOCly, I definitely do think that this is negative for the thread experience and I hope the host disallows it.

In other news I'd be genuinely surprised if both ExLight and Dolby are town.

I hate to disappoint you but:

On screen a reporter was seen by himself. "Everything is quiet in the city tonight, not much to report. I've seen nothing happen out here." Liam said as the studio hosts smiled.

"Thanks Liam," the hosts said and it cut back to the wide angle in studio.

According to the flavor, I found absolutely nothing.  No tellings of what some did or who they were, just nothing. How that's possible, I'm not sure.

Miscellaneous notes. CerealKiller had some real life stuff come up with deaths in his family as such he has asked and I have granted him a modkill. Since he was around for most of the day his vote will still count and he will be killed tonight. If anyone knows of anybody who can possibly replace him reach out to me I've run out of people to ask.
