A New Adventure in Old London

An Original Werewolf Story by Abbi

Rules

1) The first Day Phase will be 72 hours. Each Day Phase afterward will be 48 hours, with each night phase being 24 hours. Phases will start and end in Central Standard Time. These times are absolute, actions submitted after the times displayed will not be accepted. We are all busy including me so it may take a while for me to set up the next phase please be patient I tried to set up phase times that I'm less likely to be busy but I also have to count votes and write flavor.

2) You dead you dead, no talky. Just like in real life the dead can't talk, and just like in real life you will ascend to a higher plane… the discord dead chat. No posting in this thread at all if you are dead.

3) Anything I send to you privately is for you only you can always claim but you must paraphrase the information you receive and do not copy and paste anything from a private chat with the host or take screenshots. Punishment for violations will be handled on a case by case basis.

4) Sometimes the best choice is no choice, you are not required to make a choice you may vote No Lynch up to 3 times this game. The person with the most votes at EOD will die though remember that majority is not required. If majority is reached the day will end immediately.

5) There is a vote command in BBCode [ vote ]Playername [ / vote ] without spaces, the player name must be exact. There is a button in the post editor that will auto fill the vote for you, it is the last button on the post editor and has a checkmark icon.

6) During each phase you have an active action submit said action to the game host via PM and or Discord.

7 ) I do not care if you edit your posts but they might. Abbi is not responsible for any deaths caused via the edit feature, for some reason it's considered suspicious.

8. There is a post maximum of 50 per person per phase and a post minimum of 2 per person per phase for every phase after phase 1. There is a post cap of 75 posts for phase 1 since it's longer. I would like this game to be playable by anyone even if they are busy. There is a post tracker thank you Wintermoot <3 please keep track of your count. If there is a UNANIMOUS agreement to disable post cap I will disable post cap.

9) Absolutely NO outside communication is allowed with other players. Ever.

10) Night talk is enabled. But will be subject to the post limitations using the previous day phases totals.

11) You always have the option to ask me questions about your role please do it. If you're worried you don't understand a rule your role or you might be toeing the line of what's allowed ask first.

12) This game features evolving roles. If you receive a PM from me after game start please pay attention to it. Ignorance of changes to your role is not an excuse.

Game will begin at 3 PM Central Approximately 18 hours from this post. Game thread is locked until game start.

If I may add a few words.

This game features an updated version of the Werewolf system that we developed for our last game, and development will continue during the game. I've done the best job of testing on my own that I can, but you'll probably find bugs or you may have ideas on how to improve something. If you do, please post them here, as it's possible I'll miss them if they're in with game posts. You can also see the specific aims and updates for this version, if you're interested in knowing what they are.

Day 1

The camera turns on. Emily adjusts the focus so that the camera is capturing the whole couch in center frame and then shouts out "everyone it's ready!" Before sitting down on the couch.

Becky comes bounding out of the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn in her hands and jumps across the arm of the couch and across Emily's lap spilling popcorn across the floor and the couch.

"Really Becky?" Makenna says, sighing as she walks into the living room. "I just cleaned up your mess in the bathroom…" her voice trails off.

"We really gotta do this?" Leigh asks, sitting down on one of the arm rests on the couch as Makenna picks up Becky's head and sits down before letting Becky lay her head in her lap.

"I promised the village we'd update them and I think a vlog of our adventures in London will be fun!" Emily says smiling.

"I guess it can't hurt," Leigh replies.

"All right it's Day 1 in London. We got a nice cozy little flat here in the city! I'm excited to go look for my first job tomorrow," Emily says excitedly.

"Becky is already out here trying to get us evicted, " Makenna sighs. "Next thing I know she'll be out past curfew."

"Wait, we have a curfew?" Becky jokes tossing her hands in the air spilling more popcorn over the floor.

"BECKY!" They all shout in unison. Becky giggles picking up a piece of popcorn from the couch and sticking it in her mouth.

"What are you all excited for?" Emily asks happily.

"Clubs," Leigh answers excitedly.

"Just don't stay out too late, okay?" Makenna says worried.

"Okay mom," Leigh replies sarcastically as Makenna sticks her tongue out at them.

"I'm excited to see the city!" Becky says brightly. "Something new instead of the same sights every day!"

"Yeah we are all excited and we are all okay, I'll make sure someone takes you along on their adventures every day guys!" Emily says standing up and walking towards the camera.

Just before the camera fades to black Becky rolls off the couch knocking the bowl of popcorn completely upside down on the floor.

Makenna sighs gently, smacking Becky upside the head. "We are going to lose our security deposit in one day…" she mutters walking away.

"So you really gonna do a daily vlog for the village elders? Every. Single. Day?" Leigh asks Emily.

"Just for a little bit, you know, to show them we can handle ourselves and they don't need to worry."

"All right well I'm gonna go pop around town and see if I can find any cool pubs ciao," Leigh grabs their jacket off the rack by the door and heads out.

Day 1 Begins Now the Day will end at 3pm Central on March 31st 72 hours from now, any votes after that time will not be counted. Abbi will begin the night phase as soon after this time as she possibly can!

Some quick notes

This game is a bastard game, there are custom roles, wincons, everything is not as it seems.

You can make a claim or a fake claim but you are liable for your claims. You may not use any direct quotes of your PM or role. You may try to say it in your own words and say what you've been doing.
