I'm not sure why that became so, but I can tell you that it was myself and two other students in my school. I started with algebra in seventh grade, geometry in eighth, and then a combined algebra II/precalc class. AP Calc was after that, but that's the highest my high school teaches. However, the state of Wisconsin (and a few other states, if I'm aware) allows school districts to fund university classes up to eighteen credits, and so I'm taking those advanced math classes at the local community college.
