Time: Round 9 Day

Well, I mean, no one has been killed by the pies. I do not see any strategy that any self respecting wolf would make that would lead to them not killing people this many nights in a row. Either the pies are completely inactive, which I have my doubts, there are no pies, which is a bit out there, or the pies have been consistently blocked from using their powers or have no powers. And the one that makes the most sense to me is a defender blocking the wolves from doing anything. But if that was the case, why has the town defender said nothing? They would have blocked 4 night attacks in a row and said nothing? And where is the investigative townie? By now they must have investigated at least a few people. We know both are still on the board since all the other dead are plain townies. I hope the town power roles find something, and fast.

With that in mind, I'll try my hand at a little bit of analysis. I'm probably going to be waaaaay off but here goes.

I think Kiddian was a town power role. It would explain the lack of reveal since they were new and inexperienced. If I had to bet, I would say investigative role.

Dolby has been responsible for starting a lot of the lynch trains that led to townie deaths. They were the first to try and paint Abbi as a wolf and they were the one who then turned around and voted for Wintermoot the round after Abbi died. My suspicion of them predated all that and was solely based on how they played being similar to how they played in Abbi's game when they were bad.

Mars, its just a plain vibe read. The way they are playing just seems a little off to me, but not in any tangible way. I just have a vibe because I know them well and not much else.

Now, I know that this is slim, but I don't have a whole lot else to go off of. I know I'm the most sus person here right now but all I can do is promise I'm a town and hope for the best.

We're down to 7 players, so assuming there are 3 wolves, that means there's only 4 town. Just one more town death means we lose. 

There's no way the wolves did not try to kill someone last night because they would have won last night if they successfully killed. That means the defenders have at least successfully blocked once, if not every time.

We cannot afford to mislynch today because if we do then we lose. I suggest that if you're a power role, you claim and give out your night actions so that we can narrow down the list of suspects.

I actively townread Abbi on D2 and didn't want her dead. I went for wintermoot bc he was using anything he could to paint her as sus. i backed off her bc I thought she was town, and if there was a CW that day I would have voted for it

Yeah I bear responsibility for Wintermoot. If he didn't decide to push me while ignoring me fake claiming a PR I probs wouldn't have voted him tbh. I considered that basically outting from him

The first person I ever said I was sus of was you. I didn't do anything because for day 3 I was incredibly busy and missed it and for day 4 BSR seemed like a good option. Again, this is really just a vibe read since there's not much else to go off of. If anyone has a better target I'd be willing to listen but no one has said anything and the power roles don't seem to be talking.

We only have 12 hours left of this phase.

What roles do you have? We can't afford to mislynch today and we need the info that the power roles have gained over the night phases.

So 5 of the 7 people left claim regular townie when we know there are 3 power roles, not to mention wolves. Huh. Just gonna wait for the other two then...

I'm leaning in the direction of wolf Marzipan right now.

Their first bit of notable content was a "reads" list which consisted of very hedgy could be this way could be that way reads on Kiddian, Dolby, TGN and a vote on Neon for catching Marz' attention.

Their tiered reads list the next day's looking a little interesting considering that everyone below a town lean is deceased and has flipped town except for Aren in the Side-eye category. They once again voted Neon without explaining why it is that Neon was suspicious to them.

From my perspective they then used Moot's reasoning on BSR as a basis to further shift the thread onto BSR.

Marz continued to townread Kiddian for acting like a new player, which could be considered an excuse to have an easy town-read which is still easy to second-guess later in the game if need be.

The Marz vs Aren shade-casting at this point has become established in the thread yet Marz doesn't seem to be doing anything beyond claiming that Aren's vibes do be sus. Marz sets themself up to vote BSR and re-iterates a need for info. Once Moot is flipped, Marz votes BSR with no seeming reasoning beyond the previously stated interest in Moot's theory.


In general, I think that this is all very likely to be wolf behavior. I think of Marz as a person who enjoys solving as town, and I'm seeing none of the passion from last time they played. Everything Marz has done has been based off of someone else's reasoning, which conveniently doesn't put Marz in the hot-seat for voting off a townie every time. The majority of their posts have been helpful asides mainly to Kiddian, which could be construed as pocketing and an attempt to appear townie. Despite being a presence(?) in the thread, I can't say they've really done anything to help town solve. Marz isn't claiming to be a PR either, so I feel safe putting my vote here.

If any of you noticed something I missed or am misconstruing, tell me. There's been plenty of time to elaborate or try solving Aren beyond throwing around the vibe read and yet Marz has done nothing beyond that.

I'm of the suspicion that Marz and Aren may both be wolves throwing shade on each other to look good if the other dies. This explains the consistent read yet severe lack of follow-up. I'm not sold on this though, Aren does look better overall. But yeah, Marz can and has done much better than this.
