Friends, Wintreans, Nobles lend me your ears. I have a dream. A dream that one day I will understand regional politics in Nationstates and that starts here today with your votes.

You may find yourself thinking what can Hapi do for you?
To that I say ask not what Hapi can do for you ask what Hapi can do for Wintreath. I am a fresh perspective. I am a new voice. I am the change from the status quo.

But what do you believe Hapi?
Well I hold these truths to be self evident. All Wintreans of every house lesser or greater are created equal.

Do you think you can win Hapi?
Well I'm not sure but one thing I do believe is that I'll debate them on the beaches in the streets and in town halls and I will never surrender. I believe that my viewpoints will be beneficial, a new point of view if you will.

But Hapi you've admitted you don't know a thing about what this even means.
Very astute disembodied voice asking me these questions. The only thing you have to fear in voting me is fear itself. I doubt I'll like destroy anything.

Did you just campaign by quoting famous speeches from history and applying them to Wintreath?
Yes. Yes I did.

Why should I vote for someone who's clearly joking?
I'm not joking. I truly believe in Wintreath and I want to learn how to participate in regional politics here but I know little of what any of this means. I've been told the Underhausen is a great place to start that journey but I don't know how to campaign for a body that I don't understand.

I'm unsure what the underhausen does. How it functions or how its supposed to function. But within my rewrites of famous speeches there are kernals of truth. Pay attention to those and you may just realize this joke campaign is a bit more serious.

I've noticed that you are particularly involved in roleplay, running classes for beginners on the RP forum. As someone who particularly enjoys the roleplay potential of this region, this makes me Hapi 

My question is fairly simple - do you see any opportunities to broaden the appeal of roleplay through legislative power? I'm not suggesting mandate involvement, but in the past I have put forward the idea of Titles (Sir X, Legate Y, Learned Z et cetera) that could be awarded for regional services - I think there's an opportunity to recognise those who are active and involved in our regional roleplay.

Not running classes but I am participating in them as a student and very much enjoy them. I would love to recognize members of the community who are involved in the roleplay and other areas of the community.

I still don't fully understand all the mechanics of the regional politics here but I like what I've seen. I liked the elections I saw last month and I like the openness and ease of running. I wish only that it was better explained to new members what everything is for and what it's purpose is. I'm learning the workings of things around here but I mainly feel like I'm trying to teach myself and digging through old posts to get an idea of what everything means and what everyone in power does exactly. And what's expected.

Quite. I used to roleplay years ago trying to remember how to properly do it.

I think there are probably many new players who join and never get involved because they feel overwhelmed here and they don't know how to get involved and they don't speak up. I joined and almost did the same I was very overwhelmed and felt like there was no guidance and help even on the occasions where i spokeup about not really getting it. I took matters into my own hands to learn a bit but even still I'm confused and overwhelmed and I think other members who may be great voices and leaders will never get the chance as it stands.

Aside from that, your enthusiasm and desire to find ways to assist newer members in integrating with the community is to be lauded. As I've mentioned in other posts on other campaign threads, I think a priority for the region should be capitalising on a probable uptick in activity with so many people around the world in lockdown - it's important to try and bring fresh faces in and have them stick around, and you sound like you'd be willing to make that effort.

I recall occasional talk of it in the cabinet (which interestingly has become rather active in recent years), but Integration is Very Hard, and it's always challenging to figure out a way to do it that actually works, and to have people with the interest/willingness/capability of carrying out such tasks.

Aside from a focus on new member relations and involvement I support what I've read from Pengu regarding an open assembly. That's not my original idea though.

Outside of those two points though I'm back to the same problem. I don't know what authority the UH has or what their role is exactly and as such I'm bout entirely sure what I'd do diffrent than anyone else. But I do know that I'm good at having opinions on things and making my points known constructively. And thru many discussions on discord i know I don't always agree with the other candidates here.
