  • Ask me anything.

If I am in a good mood you'll get a pleasant, concise answer.
If I am in a nasty mood, my answer will be a non-answer paragraph of grandiloquent rhetoric.
If I am in a "special mood," god help us all and hopefully I don't get kicked out of the server.

Ask at your own peril.  The author is not responsible for any trauma induced by brutal honesty.

  • I have no personal opinion on math.  Math is reality.  There are different ways of viewing reality, for instance using a base 6 number system or defining domain using set notation instead of the more common base 10 and interval notation.  But the translation, the solution, the math is unchanged fact.  A infinitesimal persona non grata such as I would be a fool to suggest otherwise.

I do enjoy math.  Triple integrals and complex algebra especially, although my primary talent is for calculus applied chemistry and physics.  I was one of those kids who not only memorized the periodic table of elements, but also the average natural-occurring atomic masses and proton counts to make my calculations more efficient.

Returning to the main topic of math: there are fields of study related to math in which opinions can be formed such as various applications of infinity, the imaginary number, and complex generative model equations.  While I am aware of such investigation and debate, I know that my schooling and additionally, your schooling is not yet great enough to form educated arguments on the existence of nonzero and quadratic binary algebra.

Wow I could not have hoped for a better reply! I was expecting the usual “ew math” response. There are more math-inclined Wintreans than I thought! You’ve got some good favorites there. And you’re right; I don’t even know what nonzero and quadratic binary algebra is.

I guess the only things in math I can think of that you could have an opinion on are the existence of imaginary numbers, how infinity can be applied, and the whole 0.9999... = 1 thing. But those all fall under things you mentioned.

Well I don’t have any other questions right now. Other than the ones Elbbsas will probably ask.

  • Good one.  Idiosyncratic phrases are fun.  My grandmother would send me letters with little pound signs when I was little.  I'd always put an x in the center and send it back.  That was my favorite 'card' game.

I am a big fan of poker, but y'know, without money.  I also like palace, Egyptian rat screw, cards against humanity, exploding kittens (the game), Dutch blitz, and rummy.

As for board games, anything that is best played with a straight face.  Games of the mind.  Like Clyew, the Game of Leaf, and Planktionary.  Ches (tnut) and Slatego are my top two though.

  • I'm not late!

What's the reasoning behind your username?
What's the most far-fetched life goal you've got?
    What... is your favourite color!

  • I respond to Dani in real life.  And without a last name, I feel safe enough using Dani online.  If you are talking about the extension subtitle bit, the primary reason for choosing it was because it sounds awesome.  I also read a lot of books, and the inspiration came from a few of them.  Bastet is my chosen patron goddess for a large number of reasons including cats and a death wish.  That's as in depth as I'll go, seeing as you gave me a triple feature.

I don't have life goals anymore.  But I am actually in a good, talkative mood instead of a nasty talkative mood, so in the spirit of your question, the biggest thing I dream of is a tiny bakery/coffee shop in the middle of the Antarctic wasteland.  More realistically, it will closer to the North pole- Finland or Alaska, but I dream of the icy continent.  I serve anyone foolish enough to be out, needing a harbor.  I bake and serve food, and live in the upstairs.  I never speak, but no one really minds.

You had to pick a challenge question for the last one.  I never learned proper English.  Just American English, so your question is what my color is, since favourite is coming up with a red line.  My color isn't.  I am not a person.  There is no hers or his or theirs or even its.  Something of lesser value cannot claim ownership.  And color could be argued to have the greatest value but certainly not the least value.  Now we've simplified your question down to "what is color?"  I can answer that question with a long scientific answer, which simplifies to a range of wavelengths of energy that are visible to the human eye.  The reason humans see the color range we do is because they evolved to see the majority of the energy that makes it from the sun through the atmosphere.  We can of course use cameras to detect other energy wavelengths and represent them in colors we can see, but that isn't "color."  Intentional bitchy misinterpretation aside, I like to view the color red, specifically the wavelengths around 414 nanometers long.

...Yeah, this is what I get for misspelling "colour" instead of "favourite" this time. =P
