Let there be... ACTIVITY!!!   

But on a more serious note, do we want to be actively talking about this to people in the Gatehouse?  I think that we could definitely hook more people if we did...

So I have a few questions before creating my factbook:

• Roughly what technology level are we looking at for our tribes?
• What sort of area can we control on the map? (I would recommend small land-claims due to the size of Wintreath)
• How many people can we have in our tribes?
• Can our tribe have multiple settlements in the area we claim?
• I can have the climate map for the time-period this RP is set in up in about an hour, where should I put it?

@Weissreich I believe the map should go in the map thread, once you have it there I believe @xXTheHydraXx will be able to bring a copy the front post in that thread.

I'll try to answer all your questions when I get home which will be around 9 PST.

With regards to Question #1, I originally envisioned this to be a prehistoric, stone age tech level, probably Paleolithic. However, some of the government and military systems I've been reading in the factbooks wouldn't work at that tech level, because the level of organization required would be impossible.

Right now it is still a "You Are Here" dot on the map with claiming land and expanding coming later as I can't really regulate sizes for land claims, so... any ideas anyone?

This was asked by Robin and his original estimate of 15,000 people seemed reasonable.

This should be fine, but again, I'm still trying to figure out the whole claiming thing.

I sort-of was thinking bronze/iron age tech.  Like early Roman/late Greek(ish), but with a bit of a Viking twist, because we're in the land of Eternal Winter...

I could tell by your factbook. As I said in the Interest thread, I intended it to be prehistoric tech, set in an older ice age period before year 5,000 on Weissreich's TL. In other words, primitive hunter-gatherer tech.

No offence to neolithic people, but I seriously doubt that they had any sort of organised leadership...

They definitely had organized leadership, just not on a large scale. At first, I was thinking of tribes of maybe several hundred people for that reason, and was as a result surprised by how your factbook was turning out.

Of course, the size of cities would decrease sharply to the north, as farming becomes much more unviable in colder conditions.
