I couldn't not share this, seeing as A Clockwork Orange is one of my favourite movies.

Once more our universities are burning.

Three black men are shot by police in 36 hours, and BLM decides to riot over the one who was actually armed. Brilliant. Charlotte is an amazing city, and I would hate to see it pull a Baltimore. It's pretty rare that you will see me actually rooting for the police, but they need to take care of that problem.
Protesting is one thing (I say protest and protest LOUD), but there is no excuse for stopping traffic, looting trucks, and lighting a fire on the interstate.

In more bad news, I have a theory that explains in detail why Trump is going to win. Long story short: it's purely the fault of liberally biased media with a little bit of blame on the Republican Party.

Trying to locate mead that ships to South Africa is ridiculously hard. I guess I'll have to be a patriot and narrow my search to local breweries only.

Coincidentally, is there anyone here who has tried mead before, and can point me in the right direction? This will be my first time.

Late as fuck.

I've made it. Seriously. It's not hard. I usually make Cyser, which is apple mead -- apples, honey, yeast and water is all you need for something easy and boozy. I usually add a clearing agent and clean it up a bit, but homemade hooch is great.

Would you be willing to post a recipe and explain everything that would be needed to make that Cyser? I've decided making my own is the only way I'll get to try mead in the foreseeable future.

So my ex-wife finally moved out, and though it's been saddening to think that I managed to fail so miserably at relationshipping, I feel like a lot of things have really started to fall into place for me mentally. I'm keeping the house clean (turns out the key is to not expect help from literally anyone, because you won't get any), I'm getting my work done, my relationships are improving (except with my ex-wife, but that's definitely here or there.. most likely firmly THERE.. WAY OVER THERE).. my ex taking the kids now and then has really taken a load off my shoulders (been the exclusive caregiver to my 2 kids for like .. a year now, which got exhausting).

Moving into a new place, this time an apartment complex.. smaller house, but there is an indoor gym.. indoor pool, hot tub, a nice playground, and a dog park (My roommate wants to get a dog, though she says she gets the dog if we ever get divorced(double paren points out this is an inside joke)). It's quite a beautiful complex too, and conveniently close to Tyler's new school.

Dunno, just things are.. for once in a long while, looking up. I don't feel like I'm drowning in responsibility, I feel capable and strong.

I feel like I might finally be enough.
