I should try lucid dreaming again.

All these drunk people...I can't help but wonder who the horny drunks are.

I'm the kind of drunk that finds everything hilarious (including the fact that the room spins), and so I pretty much just laugh and giggle nonstop.

I used to be able to lucid dream all the time when I was in high school. One can guess what I did in these dreams at such an age.

I've been there. Hell, I'm still there now, desperately trying to find something to dull the pain of my own existence. Painkillers, booze, overindulgence in just about everything that could be considered a vice. But as to your second point... I've been there to. And staring over the ledge, down the barrel of the gun, at the blade, whatever you chose (I've done all three and more), its no good. And if you go through with it and try, its even worse. You'll regret it from the moment you cross the point of no return. Your life may be bad now. It may be awful. It may be unbearable. But ending it.... its not worth it.

I didn't realize this region was so new. The RP guild wasn't made until November 2015. That's like, yesterday in NS time.

There were earlier serious RPs, but for some time there weren't any. This region wasn't founded until late 2013, though, so yeah, it's quite new.

The region was founded on October 17, 2013.

Trying to locate mead that ships to South Africa is ridiculously hard. I guess I'll have to be a patriot and narrow my search to local breweries only.

Coincidentally, is there anyone here who has tried mead before, and can point me in the right direction? This will be my first time.

@Weissreich and @Joshua Bluteisen, I don't suppose either of you have tried it?

Eh, mead was a bit hit and miss for me if I'm honest - honey has never been one of my favoured substances due to its sweetness and I'm much more of a real ale (bitters, pale ales, hop beer etc) drinker than anything else.

Ohh, for some reason this story is cracking me up right now.

My dad and I went to get cheeseburgers and he ordered a double cheeseburger and I ordered a single. He asked me why I got a single, and I said I was trying to be cognizant of my caloric intake and explained why. Then he said accusingly: "You're watching your figure!"
I didn't know at the time he knew I was trans and moving to Oregon to be a woman (he was helping me move).

Dunno why it's so funny to me right now, it's actually kind of terrible. Like but that makes it funnier because he was totally right, the simpler explanation was that I was watching my figure. It's just kind of a girly thing to say so I tried to avoid saying it.. But he knew it was because I was girly... Oh god.
