My father and mother also had a similar situation. They were under the influence of a couple of drugs and did have unprotected sex and she did get pregnant. That musta been about 22 years ago. She would've been around 16 or 15... They're going to be married in about three weeks after having three children together.

Similar situation happened to a friend of mine, he was no virgin or anything. But he dated a girl for awhile, he got her knocked up, they stayed together throughout the 9 months (the baby was actually born when my friend was shitfaced at my house for a party [he did go to the hospital]), they got married, and now they are getting a divorce. I didn't see it working out in the first place. My friend is a good guy but he is battling an addiction to alcohol and "having a good time".

To clarify, this was his best friend's online girlfriend...his lived in Massachusetts, his friend lived in England, and she lived in North Carolina. So last Thanksgiving he decided to visit her for a week, since they were all friends. This is a course of action I advised against, since there had already been some questionable online interactions between them and she was still with his friend...but he did it, he lost his virginity to her, and a few weeks later he found out she was pregnant. So he moved to North Carolina to be with her and all that. Fortunately he's not addicted to alcohol as far as I know, they just had one stupid night and this is the result of it.

In some states (hereto 'incest states') they show the film in school as an anti-drug film.

I cannot get it through my head why people do what they do. Alcohol is A) Disgusting and B) Only really leads downhill. I have severe depression and I don't get drunk or smoke marijuana like one of my other friends who is depressed and I managed to get a significant other and for the first time in my life...I'm happy. Alcohol ruins people. I've seen it. I firmly believe in strict alcohol laws and/or banning of it. I was once called naive and ignorant for saying that

It ruins people yes, but ban it? It won't happen. Like absolutely everything, too much alcohol is certainly bad for you. But of course it is. For fuck's sake, has anyone ever thought how stupid that phrase is? 'Too much is bad for you.' Well no fucking shit it's bad for you! By definition, 'too much' is that quantity where the substance or habit or whatever is bad for you!!

If anything, they ought to lower the drinking age in the US. Setting it at 21 does nothing but teach teenagers to consume alcohol as quickly as possible and as much as possible. Here in Europe I can sit down at a bar and enjoy some beers with my friends, or hell, my dad, at age 16.

Yes, it's awesome. But it also teaches you how to drink. How many European alcoholics do you know?



But forget that. I'm actually enjoying being back in school, at least for now. And Amalya, your radio station is putting me in a really good mood. Can't tell you how nice this is.

In my eyes, I've seen it ruin families, lives, and caused death. The only thing I've done is one shot of whiskey when I was 13 because my brother's friend said he'd gargle a shot if I drank one. So yeah. Other than that, I'm not touching it. My 21st birthday will be spent filling out applications for the police academy instead of getting wasted.
