I've been told by friends returning from Japan that if you rear-end another car, no matter what, it is the other driver's fault, since the accident would.not have occurred if they weren't there.

Go figure.

Funny, here in Canada it's whoever does the rear ending, to a degree where it's a faulty system. I've seen people back into other cars, just for the insurance money.

I would say it's like that in America as well...cause of the insurance companies mostly.

At least we aren't all driving around with dash cameras like some Eastern European companies.

What lovely weather...and by lovely I mean cloudy/rainy and around 65 degrees (18 Celsius)...very unusual for the middle of summer. I remember last year travelling in-state for work and it was over 90 (32).

It makes me yearn for autumn even more.
