  • I decided to do the demos to see which one I was more interested in and EU4 seemed a bit simpler and an easier one to start on, so I think I will get that one and maybe get CKII sometime else. I haven't gotten it yet so you still could persuade me though :P

  • EU4 is great if you want a wonderful and memorable experience leading a nation. If you want a more personal and self-determined experience, Id recommend CK2.

  • Personally for me EU4 (3 at the time) was easier to learn...I still struggle with CK2 for some reason. =/

  • So, I'm playing as Brittany, and choas is happening in the west, and England deckared war on France... the suprising thing is, one of Burgandy's vassals, Nevers, a city-state, has occupied half of France XD... RISE OF THE CITY STATES!

Update: My end of the war just ended... I have riches for days, and France released 2 city-states...

That's what I like...no two games are ever the same, and the results can just be outright weird sometimes. :P

I bought Victoria 2 on steam even though I owned a disc copy. I tried for over a week to get it to start. Finally, it starts and I get to go to a menu..... where it promptly crashes after 5 minutes of gameplay. Fuck it, I want my money back!
Vic 2 is just really unstable. Try deleting a file called time and don't boot Vic 2 through steam.

Its ok. I still have the CD copy, that runs alright. I was just hoping to play A House Divided. And after I spend 2 days trying to fix their broken product, quite frankly, I dont think that Paradox deserves my money for that.

Victoria 2 works for me just fine. :/

Considering both CKII and EUIV are 44$ Canadian I would say... 44$ Canadian :P Maybe 50$?

A german website showed the price of 40 euros, which is 40 dollars in steam store as well.
