So quick update, Emperor Viktor the Blessed (who succeeded Tomislav the Just) died and one of his legitimized bastards (Nikolai the Noble) was elected to succeed him. He, however, was gay and unmarried so I just had him marry the Dowager Empress, who was his step mom and mentor. I picked the family focus so I managed to gain her as a lover. I also was immediately propositioned by every gay count, duke, commander and king with the seduction focus from Jerusalem to Scotland (since he got the quick and attractive traits from his mother, I guess), including Tomislav the devil spawn (even the gay Tripimirovics love incest, apparently). Surrounded by strong, strapping men all trying to get into my pants? Did they make this game from my dreams when I wasnt looking? :]

Really? Must be a bug, a good example of this not being the case is that women with the seduction focus can not seduce homoseuxal men, and men with the homosexual trait can not seduce women. Also vice versa.

So Nikolai died at age 74, leaving his 15 year old son Petar to be elected to the throne. Also, the pope called a crusade on a kingdom in India. India! Now I have to march my armies across the entire goddamn map to fight in India! Not only that but I suspect that the vast majority of my men will be dead by the time I get there! THANKS, POPE.

I bought Victoria 2 on steam even though I owned a disc copy. I tried for over a week to get it to start. Finally, it starts and I get to go to a menu..... where it promptly crashes after 5 minutes of gameplay. Fuck it, I want my money back!

Vic 2 is just really unstable. Try deleting a file called time and don't boot Vic 2 through steam.

Its ok. I still have the CD copy, that runs alright. I was just hoping to play A House Divided. And after I spend 2 days trying to fix their broken product, quite frankly, I dont think that Paradox deserves my money for that.

I'm planning on getting one of these 4 games during the winter sale, anyone suggest which I should get?
I have until January 4th to buy 'em so yea...
