I have Mucinex and chapstick now...that helps

I... don't know what to do. I'm having a lot of problems right now and it's pushing me to the edge, I can't sleep, for fear of nightmares, I haven't slept in three days. I can't cope anymore. I really hope this isn't my goodbye note, but it's getting to be too much. I need help.

I'm back home from my training trip...overall, it went very well and was very productive, and it was nice going out and having a good time with the people I share an office with daily. I think I've finally got a grip around a problem I've been having for over a year at work, which was how to best develop for the reporting platform we trained on, and I was able to get a lot of ideas for things to do.

On the other hand, in spite of my best efforts while I was gone, I know I'm pretty far behind on NS stuff and it'll probably take a few days to get back on top of everything.

This region is one of the best places I've been in in my life. I've met so many wonderful people here. This might be the prelude to my resignation though.

I would also like you to consider something: how many regions have you been kicked from? You know what they all had in common? You. Life doesn't suck, the world is amazing, there's so much out there. It's people that sour the experience.

10 years ago my mother passed away due to certain ....complications arising out of a brain aneurysm.  She had a chance to live, albeit with physical therapy, but it was taken away from her.  This after turning 49 two weeks earlier.

Spring time never seems to go well for me.  I lost my dogs around this time in 2002 and 2003, and now it seems my cat may not last long.

So much has happened, and I'm surprised I haven't killed myself yet from all the overwhelming feelings....

Sorry to hear that Gov. It seems we've all  been having problems for the past two months. It breaks my heart to hear about a sick animal.

Although I must say, I'm not sure I've met anyone that's cared as much for their animals as you, Gov...especially with your ordeal with Frito. You should be commended for that.

That being said, cunning is right...this hasn't been a very good time for most of the region. =/

It's almost been a month since Charax departed from NS.

In many ways, it's hard to believe that it's already been a month...it seems like just a week or two ago that I was still trying to get over the shock and depression of his departure, things that I'm still trying to work through. How do you replace someone in your life that was your best friend and confidant...someone I could trust with anything, no matter how private or secret, and someone that I knew would be a partner in handling anything that I brought to him, whether it be a personal situation, something with NS, thoughts about the region or something that was going on. You just can't...and even I wasn't aware how much I'd miss just having him to rely on mentally in what's been a very hectic, draining month anyway.

Since the conclusion of the election I've been taking mini-breaks from NS and the region...spending an evening reading, thinking about new ideas for the region, thinking of new goals and things to do in life. Having to run the region with such a small Cabinet proved draining, and in the end I had to drop almost everything with the region and focus on two things...the elections, and the front page site updates. I think both of those went wonderfully, but everything that had to be dropped. Hopefully now that we have new Riksråd members, things will start moving apace again, and I intend to help any way that I can. I also hope with a full Cabinet I can take additional breaks and rest and recover from the last month.

It would just be even better if I could find someone I always find myself on the same page on, as I always felt with Charax...I miss having an equal partner to exchange thoughts and plot and plan with.
