Wintreath has gone through a lot of changes in the last two months...we've grown much larger, our native recruits have stood out and become an equal part of our community, and we have so much more to do in the region, both culturally and within our government. We're transitioning from a disorganized, new region to a more stable, established region, with our own unique group of regulars and our own unique, amazing community. The time has come for those changes to reflect in the Riksråd (Cabinet) and other ministry positions.

As Monarch, I have the pleasure of announcing that a number of people will be taking on new roles in the region, and will be working to make our region an even better place than it already is. These people have been active in the community, have stood out in some particular area, and I'm certain will do a fantastic job.

• As some of you may have already noticed, Andrew Ryan has been named as Organizer of The Rumpus Gameroom, and will be responsible for organizing regional game nights, Wintreath groups on other games, and other fun activities that involves off-site gaming. This is something that I've long wanted to see, but haven't been able to make happen myself, so I'm excited to see this get off the ground. If you're interested in playing a particular game, or would like to help with this new area of our culture, please take a look in that area of the forums or get with Andrew to get something going!
• Additionally, Weissreich has been named Organizer of The Wintreath Chronicles, our efforts to create a RPG game-quality database of regional facts and lore. From its inception, Weissreich has put in so much work into the Chronicles, and I know that this is an area he's very excited about. I'm very excited about this area of our region as well, and I can't wait to see where it goes under his leadership! Who knows? Maybe someday we'll just go ahead and create a game based off of everything we put together.
• A. Pierangelli (Rout), who was previously Organizer of The Wintreath Chronicles, has accepted a position as Thane of Information, with a focus on overseeing and assisting in Wintreath's present and future publications. I know that she will do a wonderful job here, because she's already doing a wonderful job doing this for the Orendi, Wintreath's monthly foreign dispatch. While most regions struggle to put out a regular dispatch, and many that do rely on one or two people to write the whole thing, our foreign dispatch is one of the most collaborative efforts I've seen in NS, and I believe this is due in no small part to her leadership in this area. I believe you'll see the results of her talents very soon as we're able to put out more in the future.
• Alterra has accepted a position as Thane of Defense, and will assist our Jarl, Denth Rowan, with all the paperwork and tracking that an active military like ours requires. Alterra was one of our first troops that had "grown-up" natively in our region, and he has served with competence and style. Additionally, I know him to be a very responsible person who will rise up to any occasion that's needed of him in spite of his own very busy life. His work in this position will help ease the workload of Denth and myself, and will eventually allow us to focus on some great new initiatives for our fighting men and women!
• Last but not least, Charax has accepted a dual-position as Thane of World Assembly Affairs and Vice-Delegate of the region. You already know him as our Crown Prince and Jarl of Foreign Affairs, and I'm happy that he will be involved in yet another part of our region, in no small part because he has much experiences in this area, including having drafted several WA proposals, and also previously served in the same position in Spiritus and did an absolutely marvelous job of it. While taking on most of the jobs of Vice Delegate, Charax will also assist our Delegate in WA resolutions that focus on gameplay, a portion of the game that he's been involved with for over a year and is very knowledgeable about. Because he is so involved in gameplay, which often requires a mobile WA nation, the requirement that the Vice-Delegate keep their WA in Wintreath will be waived except in emergencies during his time in this position.

Congratulations everyone, this reshuffle or reorganisation is gonna open a whole lot of opportunities for the region as a whole. I'm looking forward to what we manage!

Congratulations all! It delights me to see so many native faces progressing in the region. To me, it's an indicator that those of us who laid the foundations for this region (and Wintry especially) have done the right thing and succeeded in preventing the Government becoming a closed-off inner circle that prevents people progressing. We have an amazing pool of natives here, and I'm sure the four of you who've been promoted will be the first in an illustrious line of natives serving their region admirably.
