We didn't hit all of them though, there's still [18, 23] [17, 28] (I'm attacking those squares this turn) and [17, 29]

I thought it was unlikely that Gerrick targeted his own blue square just to confuse us. Could try though. If that actually works I might just yield to you.

Round 67 Summary

Suddenly everything is coming up Gerrick! After banging on Pengu last turn, he finds Red Mones at 27,17 this turn, making this a sudden two-person much between him and Aethelia! But Aethelia wasn't left empty-handed this turn, she found the last remaining Starcaller on the map.

One person now stands between each player and victory! Only thing left to do is see who wins.

So many more targets than me. And less squares to choose from.
I don't know, I need to think about just giving up now so we can finally end this. Seems very mathematically unlikely to end any differently anyway.

That would be an anti-climatic way to end a four-month competition.

Isn't there something to be said for trying to beat the odds?

I mean I can't really argue with the appeal of a sudden underdog win, those make for good stories, and I think for the first time I'm the underdog in this...

I suppose strategically, if the last blue square I can't see can be anywhere, and mine is not on the edge, my best hope is to try the edge rather than ruling out squares for Gerrick even faster, and hoping that works.
Other than with the scorpion, because I don't want the scorpion to feel useless. I know that feeling. Don't like it. But I can talk a lot about that more another time.

I'm not sure...at the moment hosting means changing a script on the website to change the map, so it would depend on if I created an interface for someone else to update it. We'll see how it goes.

I didn't really think that scorpion through. Guess it can just stay there. Also it's hard to find a specific red square in a sea of red squares. No lines between them.

I should have made my December 15 post shorter. Gerrick liked it and I don't know what that means. Probably something innocent, like the part where I said I'd try anyway. I should have only said one thing so it would be more clear.
But it reminded me that I considered early on using post likes to make it seem like I was either trying to say something, or giving something away by accident. Like making someone think "Why did Aethelia like two posts targeting the same area? Am I close? Or is it a trick?"
But then I realized it was unlikely to work, after already being unlikely to be noticed at all. Not like subtle hints ever seem to work in real life for anything I do.
