  • Sorry for not responding I was without internet for the past week!

Edit: Should I just post a second character now in the event that Thurmond dies? Not that he is AS likely to die as some of the other people but I have been struck with inspiration. That way it can be approved and ready in the event that Thurmond either messes up a fight with a bad guy or...erm.... needs to be "put-down"

No worries. Glad to have you back.

And you absolutely can. We encourage multi-charactering.

Name: Tömörbaatar Temujin (Temujin is actual name, Tömörbaatar is the fathers name bc Mongolian naming system is weird.)
    Age and Gender: 19  Male
Appearance: Temjin wears very punk styled clothing, leaning towards almost gothic. His hair is white due to albinism, and he wears colored contacts, one blue and one deep red.
Personality: Temujin has lived a hard life. Due to this, he is very hard to impress. His life as a nomad in the Steppes cause him to seem very blunt or uncaring, but he is actually quite the opposite. When one gets to know him very well they learn that he lives by a personal moral code, which is based around the idea of earned respect. He dislikes criminals, unless they steal to feed their families. He supports hard workers, but detests business owners who over work their employees. He loves good food, and it is an easy way into his heart. He is also quite flirtatious, but will always respect a woman's opinion. He is also a follower of Eastern Orthodox Christianity, and sports a variation of it's cross as a tattoo under his left eye.
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Biography: Born to a family of blacksmiths deep in the heart of outer Mongolia, Temujin was given his name, meaning "Iron Worker" based on the family's trade. Little did they know that at the age of 5, the young boy would begin to show the supernatural ability to manipulate metal. He utilized this gift throughout his life as he learned how to use it for just about any task, such as hunting, building and most importantly, blacksmithing. Eventually however, the life of a nomad became harder and harder, and a unusually strong winter and bandits from other groups resulted in the deaths of Temujin's family. Realizing he could not stay out in the wilderness by himself, a young  Temujin, only 17 at the time, stowed away on a shipping company truck and later a ship, and sailed into the United states where he was allowed in. Armed with nothing but his blacksmithing knowledge, martial arts training, and tough skinned nomadic attitude, Temujin became well known as a bladesmith in a small town outside of Juneau Alaska, and is generally well liked by the community. He lives in his personal forge, a small shack with a metal working furnace, primitive anvil, and some hand and power tools, using the heat to shield from the cold, even though it does not bother him much.

Powers: Again, Temujin can manipulate metal. He does so by being able to control the atoms of the metal, although he is limited in the metals he can control, namely Iron and any metal containing it, Copper and it's alloys, lead and alloys of it, and titanium and it's alloys. The limitations in his manipulation is as follows: He can create any weapon, structure, or otherwise out of the metal, but it must have the same or less mass (With left over metal of course) as the base material. For example he can make a medium (full metal) axe from an iron pan, but cannot make a greatsword from the same amount of material. Alternately he can make a small knife from the same pan, but there would be left over metal from the pan. He can also excite the atoms, causing them to heat up the metal, or vice versa. His manipulations can be controlled in the air (in a magneto-esk fashion), but he is limited to the weight of what he can lift, which is around 230kg at MAX. He cannot control someone's blood just because they have iron in it or any of that BS. He has a "pet" crow made of a iron alloy that he uses as back-up metal if he needs a knife in a pinch. He can also use the atom manipulation to treat some metals as a form of liquid in his hands, and can melt things like opponents weapons, ie. bullets or knives. Physical abilities include good martial arts training in things as archery, swordsmanship, and knife fighting. Average running and jumping capabilities. Weaknesses include not being overly bright, and having no powers if he does not have access to any metal that he can use. Not so much of a weakness as a personal problem is that he dislikes modern commodities such as TV, internet, or things of that manner. The most expensive thing he owns in fact is his horse, due to not trusting cars or other motor vehicles in Alaska's tough winter conditions, preferring to let his personal Mongolian horse (which he had imported from his homeland after making enough money) horse carry him through the wilderness and even through town.

Good job remembering GK's name, also while Temujin does enjoy a bit of throat song, he is Eastern Orthodox, not Tengrist

Temujin is almost as badass of a name as Ghengis Khan, and is right up there with Kublai Khan. Hopefully your Temujin had a better childhood than the IRL Temujin. :P

And I know, but Tengriism is awesome and the meme.

Approved. Be careful with the molecular manipulation and stuff like that, and make sure you're not abusing the fact that you have two approved characters. Otherwise, something could happen, and Temujin might end up facing more bullets than he can melt.

  • He'd do humanity a far greater service just by drinking all the toxic waste produced than fighting crime.
Admittedly this is very much like the argument that Superman would do the most good by turning a turbine nonstop creating infinite free power for humanity.
But I mean...in this case especially it's super (heh) true.

His molecular manipulation is limited to the creation of alloys (so he can make an alloy without needing special tools) and to the cooling and heating of metals, nothing more.

  • I'm not really sure what to add to what seems like over a page of talking about transportation to the next objective, so can I just request that all participants get a new power: Fast Travel. It won't be as powerful as teleportation, it could just work with the same rules as Skyrim or Fallout.

I figured everyone would just get in the van and go to the site, if you want to RP small talk while in the van you can but we could just end up at San Francisco
