  • For those that have been around for awhile, they should remember this. However a little over a year go, I proposed a programming competition.

    This is an attempt at both viewing this from a new view and also attempting to revive the discussion and revive the idea.

  • We could beta the competition with an extended period over the holidays. Just to get something going. I know people are busy this time of the year, but then again finding even five days when everyone has enough time for this might turn out difficult anyway.

    Maybe we could have multiple competitions, fairly often, reward points to the winners and that way have a system where no one loses anything major by missing a single round? This seems to be a common structure for these competitions.

  • I like tatte's idea, that would definitely make it more fair, especially during the holidays.
