Hehe...you knew if anyone was going to do this it would be me.

To get the obvious out of the way, I have a thing for these sorts of games...from the sappiest romance visual-novel to more hardcore games like Corruption of Champions and Monster Girl Quest, and endlessly fascinated (and occassionally aroused) by these sorts of games. So when I saw this game for sale on Steam, I had to get it. Afterwards a friend told me that the developer had posted a fix around Steam's censoring of the game, which was even more awesome. Then I got to playing, and was pleasantly surprised...I had read a review of one person joking how he was going to explain he was playing it for the puzzles, but it's actually a solid and challenging puzzle game that builds on a tired genre.

The Premise
You start out as a lowly man whose life consists of staying in his bedroom, playing video games, browsing the net, and entertaining yourself with porn, when by a chance encounter you encounter a girl who ends up being a sex fairy...one that is tasked with turning lowly men like yourself into dating and sex machines. It's kind of like It's a Wonderful Life, but instead of getting you to realize how great life is it's getting you laid. I guess they could repackage it as Miracle in Your Lap for Christmas.

In any case, your new companion will introduce you to going on dates (playing puzzles) and guide you through your first encounters with each of eight different girls, all with their own look and personality type.

The Gameplay
Each time you meet up with a girl, you can perform a number of actions, limited by her hunger counter (if it reaches 0 she'll respond to any action you take by telling you she's hungry). You can talk to her, give her gifts (including food that she likes), or ask her for a date which goes to the puzzle segment. Successful conversations win you "hunie" points that you can use to upgrade your puzzle skills, and generally involve either asking her a question (make sure you haven't asked her before), being asked to remember something about them they told earlier (why do girls do that?), and answering other questions where you just have to guess the answer they want (something symbolic in that, I'm sure...). Giving them gifts raises their gift level, which gives you bonus hunie points when you have a successful discussion...or if it's night and you're at the club, you can get them drunk too, which provides the same benefit.

And then you can ask them on dates...

The Dates

Oh baby, let's go out tonight and play so puzzle games! Mmmmmm

Each date consists of a Candy Crush Saga-like puzzle, where you're tasked with matching gems which produce affection, which you have to have so much of to win the puzzles and successfully complete the date. But it's not that easy! There are many types of tokens that have different effects:

Romance, Talent, Sexuality, and Flirtation Tokens: These provide affection when matched. Each girl has most and least preferred traits and matching them will produce more or less affection, respectfully.
Passion Tokens: Matching these increases the passion level of the date, which provides a bonus to the affection gained from matches that's very important for later dates as the amount of affection needed grows with each date.
Sentiment Tokens: Matching these provides sentiment, which is required to give gifts during the date that provide skills and bonuses during the game. Note that these gifts are different than the ones you give during conversations.
Joy Tokens: These provide extra moves when matched, giving you more turns to reach the affection threshold.
Broken Heart Tokens: These reduce lower your accumulated affection by as much as 10% per gem matched, meaning you want to avoid matching these!

Overall, it makes for a more strategic game, where you have to maximize the value of every move and consider how you want to balance out gaining the passion and sentiment you need to power skills and bonuses with directly gaining affection while not matching the broken hearts that usually means game over. If you succeed, the girl will be happy, if not she'll give some shitty remark, but either way you will get 'monie' based on how much affection you gave, which you can then use to buy gifts.

The Reward
Of course, you're not matching up this shit just to amuse the females, you want something out of it too! Completing each date will result in the girl eventually sending you a picture of them...with each successive date resulting in a more explicit pic. Then once you successfully complete at least four dates with a girl, and then successfully complete another date during the night, she will desire to visit your bedroom where you'll play another special puzzle (hint: 'affection' is changed to 'pleasure' and cause the girls to verbally express their pleasure when you match them ). Completing this puzzle will net you a final, most risque picture. That's all I will say.

The Conclusion
Overall, I would highly recommend this game to anyone that loves puzzle games of this sort, and somewhat recommend it to those that like hentai and sexual elements in games. It should be emphasized that the sexual bits are mostly rewards for completing lots of dates and not really a straight-up sex game like the aforementioned Corruption of Champions, for example. In fact, I found most of the game outside of the games to be boring...the girls end up being little more than caricatures of different types (the cheerleader, the nerdy girl, etc) and the interaction with them quickly gets repetitive and shallow. Chances are you can google the hentai photos anyway, so if you're looking at this game for that just save your money and do that!

On the other hand, the date puzzles themselves are worth the price, especially on sale. They could have easily been their own game without the girl/sex coating that's probably losing it more sales than gaining it. But to each their own.
