I'm able to include accented é in my signature from the new user CP without the signature disappearing.

Law Page Fix

An issue that prevented some laws from being added to the laws page has been fixed. Thanks to @Wuufu for reporting the issue to me.

So the signature fix only fixed that and nothing else?

Apparently so. 

At first I thought it was just randomly doing it for some reason, but nope.  Every time I put in that accented E and saved, it would change it and then appear with a blank title.

It wouldn't have fit with the casual RP, though.  Unless the house party had been in Smeagol's cave...which I doubt anyone would attend.

Some Recruitment Fixes

I fixed a bug that allowed nations to be presented long after they had been created. For example, let's say that a nation was created and moved to another region a week ago and that we failed to recruit them. If they were to be active, they would have been moved to the top of the recruitment list, even though they had already been in another region for a week. This is not only problematic from the perspective of regional sovereignty, it's just a waste of recruiter time to send messages to people that are presumably not looking to move anymore. Now nations that are either created or last moved regions over four days ago are entirely removed from the list. Note that nations that've previously been created/moved before this change are still in the list, and will slowly be phased out as this update is applied to newly moved/created nations.

Also, I improved the filter that removes nations that move to certain regions, such as puppet dumps. When recruiting nations at the very top of the list though you may still see some nations in this category though, due to the time it takes for the NationStates API to update and our script to then pick up on it (~30 seconds to 1 minute).

Something I've noticed recently - when you make a post and tag someone in it, then go back to correct a typo in the tag or add a new tag, you get a database error telling you the value doesn't exist. However! It will work through the use of {MEMBER=X}UserName{/MEMBER} tags, so I can only assume it's something to do with the auto-tagging feature using the @ symbol
