I was experimenting with the avatars because I thought it spice up the page and make it easier to see who had made the last post at a glance, but I couldn't make it work. =/

Well don't give up!! You've done an excellent job with the website so far!!

I think the problem is the center positioning on the table cell with the last poster information...that makes the avatar look awkward whether it's to the left or right, and you could only fit a very small avatar within the text...at that point it wouldn't do anyone any good.

We'll see.

One thing I've just noticed: Clicking on the "new" button and then viewing all the posts isn't marking the subforum as read. I'm pretty sure that it did before.

I've tried it and it seems to be working fine for me.

All that changed was the placement of the subforums, it shouldn't have changed any functionality.

I dunno, it just happened a few times with the Werewolf subforum, but nothing else.

Did the "last post" button get moved from the right to the left side, or was it always this way?

There's a button to go to the last post posted. It looks like a piece of paper with an arrow on it.

Where is it at? Because I don't have such a button...would be weird if this was something everyone could see but me.

Is the modify message thing on the end of posts new?   

Or am I just going insane?

Or he might be referring to the fact that there's also a Modify button at the bottom right of your post, above your signature. That's always been there, as far as I remember.
