Interesting, didn't expect that. After that post I decided to try to put 247 spaces at the end of my name, to get to 255 characters. It still appeared as one space in many places, so it didn't seem to matter if I had more than one, but I never tried quoting myself. I guess I should change it back now and stop trying stuff just to see what will happen, and the Simple Machines Forum people should probably not allow trailing spaces in usernames since it's so buggy, but still, interesting.

Today I made some updates to the law page based on issues taulover ran into:

1) I think I fixed some encoding issue that would blank out the text of laws with certain characters in them.
2) There is now a link on the upper right-hand side of the edit law page that law administrators can use to void laws.
3) When viewing a law that is now void, the page will indicate at the top that it's void.

Today I fixed a minor issue when editing Overhusen procedures where the law type would appear as constitutional instead of Overhusen procedure. I also made it so that when changing your username, any spaces at the beginning and end are removed.

Does this work now?

It was at least an interesting problem to solve.
If that sounds weird... I don't know, maybe QA experience just does that.

For some reason, the dropdown menu doesn't want to actually drop down when I click on my name on PC.

What browser are you using? Have you tried another browser or computer? If you're using Chrome on the PC, have you tried Ctrl+F5? There haven't been any recent updates concerning the drop down menu, but it can't hurt to try.

Dropdown uses javascript?
So maybe javascript got disabled on this website somehow?
If it's firefox, goto "about:config" and Toggle "javascript.enabled" to True if needed.

Hmm, CTRL+F5 did it. Now I can access it normally again. About:config indicated Javascript was already true, but that is a nifty thing I didn't know about.

I wonder if there would be any practical benefit to seeing what the most liked posts ever were. Right now I'm just curious to see it.
