Effective at January 1, 2023, I hereby resign from my remaining positions in the government, and surrender my citizenship in the region.

I wanted to thank those (especially Marz) who helped me integrate at least slightly into the region. As much as I wanted to stay, I don't think that's possible anymore.  When I first joined, I thought that this would be a place where I could be comfortable hanging out with the people, enjoying what the region had to offer, but when the months passed, it came to me that I do not fit in the community, no matter how hard I tried. I noticed that the people here are nowhere near those who I'm supposed to be with, certain developments I don't know how to explain became too hard to comprehend, and it made me uncomfortable to the point where I considered writing this. I was also too busy to talk to anyone... I know that I am irrelevant to the region, but I'm still happy that I was able to contribute something, whether it was through serving a small time in the cabinet and in the ambassador program, to giving a prize on that one game of Assassins while sabotaging myself in another. 

Even though I barely interacted with the community, I enjoyed my time here.
I'll still stay in the server and in the region until later on...

@Altrio: I'm sorry that things didn't work out.

I think we're different from a lot of others NS-based communities in that really getting into the community requires opening up to some extent...it's harder for people who are more reserved to get a feel for the community, especially if they're also not into the games. But we don't really have the politics or the government happenings, and I think that's probably hard for some people coming from NS.

I am a little concerned about these "certain developments" though...as far as I know, the last few months have been some of the most peaceful in our history. Nothing has happened that should make anyone uncomfortable, so I'd appreciate an elaboration just to make sure it's nothing that's flying under the radar and making others feel that way too.

While I'll admit you weren't really involved in the community, you definitely weren't irrelevant to the region...your maintenance of our consulates was inspirational, and I appreciate that you went above and beyond keeping them up, especially when most of the rest of the region went dormant. I hope that you'll stick around in general though, and maybe try to get involved in things again in the future. You mentioned that you were too busy to talk, and maybe in the future you won't be...just that could make all the difference in your experience here.

In any case, thank you for being a part of Wintreath, and I wish you the best of everything anywhere that you go.
