Alright, so I've broken things down a bit by sector, to help things out a bit.

@Stigya2113 Do you want to have a booth to promote the Winmentors?

@Svipjoth did you want to host a sort of mini-RP or the like, or have someone from the Rollspelskra host one?

As a matter of fact, I've been deliberating with Stigya for hosting some kind of Wintreath fundraiser, where citizens purchase raffle tickets to win video game keys, provided by yours truly.

We could also do a mini-rp, perhaps some kind of DnD-Themed circus where each citizen presents a performer. And, of course, an advertising booth for Rollspelskra!

I am in love with the D&D circus idea! It’s so out of pocket but so fun :0

Also if we’re repping different groups within the region, can we do a dungeon masters ama or something like it? I’m open to other ideas. We’re already thematically perfect lol

This would be for something different in entirely. It’s more of a fundraiser than an event, so to say. Hosted by WARPP, citizens by raffle tickets for game codes that I own and all proceeds will be donated to Wintreath. It’s entirely separate from the tickets of Summersend, but I thought the timing was nice.

I'm admittedly iffy on this one since NS has some pretty strict rules against raffles where money and monetary prizes are involved, and I've seen instances where raffles were basically forced to be shut down for that reason.

Is that so? In that case, we don't have to do it then if it breaks NationStates rules. I just thought it would be a fun idea, but I also get the moderation side of it too...

So the main thing I'm planning on doing for this year's Summersend is a revival of Clickwar. I plan to update some of the mechanics in the next few weeks to try to make the game even more fun:

Development Plans

Alliances
Players would be able to form and join alliances. Allies would not be able to attack each others tiles, but would be able to defend them...that is, their clicks would go toward their ally that owns the tile rather than themselves. They might also be able to attack other tiles in the name of an ally, but this will depend on development time. If an alliance is able to gain ownership of all tiles, they will win the game immediately, making this the first game condition that could end the game early.

Homes / Capital
The first tile a player attacked would be their home or capital, and afterwards must own the tile in order to attack other tiles. If another player were to gain control of the tile, they would have to focus their efforts on regaining control of their home. If development time allows, I may also implement a mechanic where layers can only attack tiles that are adjacent to their home or another tile they control.

Administrative Overhead
This would partially replace the point decay mechanic, and would be a representation of how much effort needs to go into maintaining what you have. Every hour you would incur administrative overhead based on the number of tiles you own and the number and size of alliances that you're in. You would pay off your overhead by, what else, clicking something, but this is time that you won't be out on the battlefield defending or attacking. Once your overhead reached a certain point, it would have an impact on your attacks...making them less than certain. Once it reached an egregious amount, point decay would start to set in, as your grip on your lands decay from neglect.

I also plan on reviving the water balloon fight from the first Summersend (as it was inspired from a D&D themed game), and I'm willing to do the Royal Summersend Couple if nobody else wants to do it. I may do more, but I don't want to take on too much until it's clear that I can handle it...and I'd like to enjoy the rest of the festivities, too.

@Svipjoth, @Michi: My understanding is that raffles can be done off-site, they just can't be mentioned or promoted on NationStates. Similar in the way we raised money for Out and Equal for Pride Month.

Then if we can make it happen in the same way as Pride Month, I'm still down to offer up my gift codes to raise money for Wintreath

Would anyone be up for hosting an actual D&D campaign? I’d do it, but I can’t 

Actually, I think I might be able to dm a campaign. Although, the schedule would probably have to change a lot and sessions would be rarer and rarer as we get into September and beyond

Like this message if you’d be willing to play in the campaign. I’m not going to hold it if less than four people say their up for it.

It might be good to start as a Summersend one-shot? And then spin that into campaign depending on interest.

Well, I was unable to gather enough support for it so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also, my plan for it calls for a short ish campaign, so I’d have to come up with an entirely new plan
