  • With Gerrick having flipped town, we are more likely than not looking at a couple scum in the lower end of the activity pool as opposed to the higher end. I stand by my assessment that with Gerrick not having flipped as scum, that lends more likely to the idea that Mele, too, is not scum strictly because they, initially, looked paired with the reasoning Mele was throwing out and Gerrick picking up on it.

And given that the higher end of posters constitutes Neon, myself, and Mele, the scum players are definitely inside those not posting as much (per how events broke down).
Pardon me, I have approximately the mental capability of a goldfish cracker. Would you be able to elaborate on why a specific Mel/Gerrick scum pairing being proven wrong lends to the idea that Mel is more likely town? I'm not drawing the connection.

Is there anyone you would pair among the low posters?

  • The initial reasoning is in my post where I voted for Gerrick.

Mele was the main proponent for the reasonings that were fielded to vote me. Gerrick tagged along on those reasons (as did others).

It stood to reason, as far as I was concerned, that a scum Gerrick would hop on and push the faulty reasoning being leveled at me. At that particular point, given that only a handful of us were really active, it looked very much like Mele/Gerrick were paired together. Mele, in this case, being a more active wolf though not a power wolf on the level of, say, Cobalt from the Champs game.

Flipping Gerrick and getting his alignment would have, for me, verified the likelihood of a pairing between him and Mele. With Gerrick having flipped town, there's no particular reason for me to look at Mele and go, "That's still a scum slot." Because, were that the case, then it is a clear case of a power wolf (in the lesser degree than what you'd see from a Champs level player going aggro). Instead, given Mele's approach, it would stand to reason that Mele is more likely town and just wrong about me. Her reasoning was just a perfect foil for some players to get behind (or, at the least, let go to create town violence).

As for pairings among the low posters -- your guess would be as good as mine. Corbin isn't the lowest of the low posters, and his content has already come across as, just like with Mele, probably being wrong town (maybe). That still leaves the likes of Svi, Jos (who has been replaced by you I believe), and Dolby.

And that's not to say that maybe the scum team doesn't have an active player among them either.

Chopping through Gerrick seemed like an extremely good option given his latching onto Mele's arguments for me and given his activity. Him being town just sets the activity bar. Since he was town, then we're looking at scum being in the low posters mostly (with maybe one among the actives if only to hedge bets because there is always the chance -- I mean Neon over there did a 180 weird lolnoscope shot at me so yeah).

  • Alright, thank you for clarifying, that was helpful. For context, have you seen or played in a Mel wolf game? I personally have not.
I don't have any pairings right now, but depending on tonight's results I may have some individual leanings. I also do not think every scum is a low poster.

  • Due to the wording of the flavor post, someone's role is more like a Kingmaker than a mayor role. That is, their vote is the only one that matters.

That being said, no, I am not unlynchable, nor does the lynch pass on to the second wagon if I am the first.

With Gerrick having flipped town, we are more likely than not looking at a couple scum in the lower end of the activity pool as opposed to the higher end. I stand by my assessment that with Gerrick not having flipped as scum, that lends more likely to the idea that Mele, too, is not scum strictly because they, initially, looked paired with the reasoning Mele was throwing out and Gerrick picking up on it.

I don't get why Neon decided it was appropriate to switch like that to try and get me lynched as that flies in the face of her progress thus far. Like, this isn't our Champs game with votes literally flying around on a dime (with reasons backing them). Like, what were you aiming at there? A literal yeet of me because ?? reasons?
I can explain. I had the obvious reason of knowing that Gerrick was not lying and is in fact town. Knowing that and knowing that I'm town as well I thought it best to lynch the player who hadn't outed as town in a manner I could verify.

To be totally fair I still read KoD as town... admittedly maybe not my top lock town but still town but in a world where the vote is going to rand and the choices are a person I'm reading town and a person I ***KNOW*** is town and has a very important town sided ability I'm going to lynch the person I think is town. Maybe that's a bad play but voting off wagon doesn't solve this problem and one or the other dies no matter what I do.

But this brings me to an important point.

The vote is tied 3-3 with Mel off wagon while she's talking about how it's going to rand and she's hoping for the best. Let me ask you something Mel. Why didn't you save Gerrick? Why did you force my hand when ***YOU*** had every opportunity to vote KoD and save Gerrick.

Perhaps because you have the info that KoD would flip green? The tracker would track me again and I wouldn't end up at the target that night because I'm not a wolf?

I'm not clearing Mel. I'm pretty convinced I'm going to die tomorrow either way if not tonight but when I flip I need you to remember this.

Also if there's a Kingmaker ability it makes sense that it would be Michi. His refusal to vote day 1 felt odd to me but it makes a lot more sense if his vote carries more weight.

  • I got some good news.

I was the one that was transported last night. So, for sure, the hits that were made were intentional by each person.

Neon, why did Gerrick see you visiting Aers?

Ostensibly I'm a hider. I can confirm Aers was the target of the NK and I was not but I am basically night bulletproof unless I hide behind a mafia player or the 3p.

I am town aligned. I chose to vote you and save Gerrick because I was going to have him track me tonight and hopefully a TP would protect him from a night kill. Alternatively whoever is cop could cop me tonight.

  • Technically I'm a custom role which tbf I think a lot of this game is. Hider is just the closest my role I can accurately describe me.

So no I don't die if my target dies. I die if I choose a mafia player. My target dies if I'm targeted.

  • I'm going to make my final night post and probably won't be on till tomorrow afternoon I'm feeling very sick.

My character hides behind a literal child to avoid death in the IP my character is based off of. It works and in fact the main character gets shot. I've been afraid to claim because in my show I'm the lead villain but I've been given a town slot here but I figure I'm basically dead tomorrow if I don't lay it all out and let you make your choices with all the info available.

The music stops as the feed cuts back from commercials. There seems to be more technical glitches now, though.

The host walks on stage. A slight tussle breaks out at one of the tables where some cantankerous person wrestles with a larger, odd looking person. After a couple of seconds, it dies down and they both return to their seats. The host ignores them as he takes the mic.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! I must say, its good to see you all again, I sure hope nothing odd happens right now.”

The host looks at the doors, expectantly. After a minute or so, he looks at his cue cards, confused. An aide comes running up, mixes the cards and hands a new one to the host, who looks amused.

“Well, it looks like everyone will be joining us for the next award ceremony! I hope you’re as excited for this next award as me, remember to put in your votes using the VOTES system, we’ll count all the votes that matter and announce the results soon, after a word from our sponsor!”

The host turns to leave before turning back to the microphone.

“Oh, and I am pleased to hear that the medical situation has been resolved. Health is always important, after all.”

The feed cuts to commercials as music plays.
