A thin, young man enters the Golden Gnome ceremony studio, gazing shyly at all the other participants. He gazes anxiously at his pocket-watch, clearly uncomfortable with something, whether it be the level of formality or the number of people.

Well haven't seen much to indicate alignment from anybody. For self preservation purposes, I will make an educated guess.

Vote: Gerrick since they are not usually silent, even when not scum. Especially not on Day 1.

Interesting pick especially since you could consider that person as just not being here (MIA as it were).

I can't be bothered to look if there actually was a post from Gerrick at all yet, but given the passage of time and lack of said post (to my memory) from him, I can't help but feel you're randing and avoiding those of us talking.

Originally I wanted security to escort you out on the grounds that you were making a scene and that was really just a reaction test. Your original reactions didn't necessarily strike me as overly scummy though but this vote feels a bit weird and frankly I think there's a bit of evidence that if you don't win your gnomie today you're possibly paired with Dolby. It's not a strong feeling but it's there and your the only person I'm reading scum on right now.

Gerrick has yet to arrive he might be running late perhaps our hosts should give him a ring. With that said I'm thinking that Kane is a better target than numbers but we could let it rand if you feel numbers is scum.

I must admit that the absolute lack of activity at an awards show is deeply worrying to me as a nominee. The show is nearly starting and there's so many guests missing or lost in the rest rooms or something. And with the early morning start I worry they won't appear in time to join us. 

Mel is also worrying me with the lack of content early. I know that she is capable of much much more than what I'm seeing here.

I agree with you on Melehan's general lack of content though I suspect there are probably some veiled messages there that will be expanded on later (if some other Werewolf games with them are any indication). Also they're probably just busy.

This is some one of my typical plays in games of Werewolf, exploring the (in)activity of players while avoiding the more active players. I would stay because I can be useful but for self preservation reasons, I would rather not elaborate on why I could be and will become useful.
If I were to create a real reads list than it would go like this with my current lack of information about players here.

My reasons for these suspicions are simple, I already mentioned why I'm suspecting Gerrick earlier. Abigail is coming across as somewhat suspicious because they do not seem to be as chaotic as they usually have been from what I have noticed in the games of Werewolf I have played with them and the parts of others I have seen them in. They are as active though as I am used to seeing.

Of course it is flimsy, it is only D1, plus being too suspicious of others to reveal my intentions is typical for me. Just read other games I have been in on this website. As another player has often described it I tend to "avoid rocking the boat" while not going with the flow.

I genuinely see no reason for that vote to be suspicious. I have played games with them and know they are normally more active, while that is true that life happens and interferes with this game, a total lack of activity from them is quite suspicious from my experiences.

Coming in here threatening fire and brimstone bearing his fangs and acting like a wolf. Best actor...as if. Best method actor maybe.

Truth be told though. I'm just looking to liven up the party it's been quiet.

Don't know why you would think I was making a scene, I was doing some mild roleplay but nothing serious. I was simply demonstrating my relatively meagre knowledge of two of the potential shows listed at this ceremony: Titans (DC Comics related show from 2018) and Grimm (show about a cop who investigates people who transform into supernatural creatures) while in the process demonstrating my own inexperience with roleplay. The character I was roleplaying started off with amnesia (not knowing people, just noticing some that seemed familiar and forgetting aspects of her identity among other things) but quickly remembered that she can produce powerful flames in the first episode of her series. Also she does not produce brimstone on her own. Finally, I was not acting like a wolf, I was suggesting we find a wolf.

Now I should go rest. I would not be surprised if I am gone by the next part though, sigh knowing my track record with unknown players in other games.

One thing I need to note is this though my friend *she walks over to Kane and sits next to them* I'm not the same player I used to be champs changed me it made me care deeper, I'm still unbridled chaos but now I'm unbridled chaos with a purpose. 

I actually deeply feel this post, especially the genuine frustration at being scum read for play style since I do that myself and it took a long time for people to get past the day 1 policy lynch on me.

Mainly I'm curious about the amount of bad guys (if there are any and this isn't like Colby's no spy Spyfall game) and what roles they'd be.  Since this is 12 players, I'd hardly be surprised if the amount was 3 bad guys...especially if it turns out this is another chaos game like our last few.

That being said, I realize this is a shot in the dark, but this would be my breakdown of what the roles could be, given what their shows are about:

*Grimm: A hunter type role, possibly scum, given the show is about hunting and normally killing people who are actually creatures hiding out in plain sight.
*The Strange Case of Jeckyll and Hyde: Possibly a 3P type role that goes between being Scum and being good, possibly with no choice in the matter.
*House of Cards UK: Possibly a crowd control type of role in the vein of vote/power suppression, more than likely scum given the nature of the show.
*The Thick of it: The other possibility for a crowd control type of role, though given it's a comedic satire show this person may less likely be scum.
*Rocky Horror Picture show: A movie that is literally chaos throughout.  Could be a type of scum, could be good with some kind of unique chaotic power.
*House: One of the possible Doctor roles assuming there's more than one, given it's a show literally centered around Dr. House
*Doctor Who: The other possible Doctor role, again given the obvious name.
*The Dead Zone: Possibly our Seer-type role, given it's a show centered around a man who was given psychic powers after a coma.  Possibly could be a delayed power as well if they start off in a "coma"
*Titans: If House and Doctor Who aren't both Doctor roles, Titans would be a possibility for a Defender role considering it's a Superhero show about a team that defends people from evil.
Person of Interest: This one is a bit more difficult to peg, but considering it goes into issues such as the greater good and justifiable homicide according to Wiki (since I've never even heard of this show before today and thought this was more about the general saying), I'm going to say this could also be a possible scum or confused cop kind of role.
*Star Trek: The Next Generation: This is another one I'm having a difficult time pegging on what it'd be.  It's possible this could be a cop or similar type of role, but this is the only one I'm drawing blanks on and hopefully someone else can fill in some possibilities.
*The Audience: This role is the other possibility for our 3P person if they are indeed in this game.  It's odd to me to have a list of shows and well known movies, and then you have "The Audience" in which the only media I found is some British play that was once performed and recorded live with Helen Mirran...so I'm more likely to assume that the role is meant to be literal folks who watch these shows/movies.  If that's the case, I'm going to assume that they'd possibly have some kind of manipulating power such as swaying/stacking votes or something to that effect.

Normally this is where I'd say that folks should claim roles since it's allowed, but considering the nature of the listed roles is completely uncertain outside of guesswork, this is obviously not a desired route to take until we can get more of a sound idea of them.  So for now, I'll end it at trying to poke some possible ideas as to what the roles are about.

I admittedly have no idea what most of these shows are I can say that I'm more of a side character than the main character in my show and even though I'm the best actress here I wonder  what kind of character you are and what award you're nominated for. Are you best actor or best supporting actor Michi?

I'll have to wildly disagree with this.

While it's always dangerous to have everyone here, it's more dangerous to give the scum a quicker victory by voting folks off D1 when we don't need to, and then them having the chance to kill a second person off during the night.  I'd rather them have a 0-1 kill count instead of a guaranteed 1-2 because people have itchy trigger fingers.

No, I'm all for that first one.  Considering our normal luck of voting off a useful good power D1, I'd much rather just sit back since there's no limit/rule against No lynch voting and let folks build up their material that we can scrutinize during D2.
