  • The host confirmed there was a gimmick. Lau, for his part, went on record saying that he declawed, so to speak, the wolves. Not that he forced them to become town through his ability (although that was his impression early on).

Coupled with the clarification someone received about what constituted a threat to the town, I'd say it makes sense.

Lau doesn't have to be teamed with you for all that to make sense, Vro. Lau, early on, was certainly pinging me, but at this point where he's already achieved what he wanted, I've got no reason to assume he's anti-town now. That's steps ahead of where I'd place you, Silver, and Aers.

Now, as it stands, you're pushing for finding someone even though you don't know who that someone is. Not only that, but the reason for this someone is because of the flavor that was generated after lynching Neon, yes?
Annoyingly, I can't really see a good way to convince you that your assumption is wrong, your logic is gratingly sound. However, the nature and wording of the reveal (including the use of "what makes the wolves evil?") should perhaps provide at least some counter-reasoning to your theory.

    Yes I am.
Why do you need my character name, Vro?
Because it gives information to the town at large about you while allowing you to keep the specifics secret. In a world where the wolves aren't anti-town, that leaves someone else as a possibility, and considering most of the people we already know about are confirmed in some way, before I begin doubting them I would like to fill out the roster.

  • And I'll echo Lau's sentiment on the withholding information.

Take Vro for instance. You asked for my character name for what reason? Do you have access to information that will help you sus out the corrupted one? Why do you have said information when you were just a wolf turned survivor? Especially if your roles, as Silver describes, were just vanilla.
Our town roles were vanilla, we were told our votes were our powers. They are no longer vanilla.

  • And that's assuming that the flavor from the post yeeting of Neon is in anyway correct in this bastard game.

And that still doesn't resolve you guys necessarily, unless you are taken at your word. Strictly speaking, you claim you were town at the start and turned survivor upon Lau's success. So you've never had the potential to not win with the town. If you're being honest, that is.

This all looks like a misdirect from where I sit, but hey, let's say you're being honest. Who is the corrupted one then? What makes someone the corrupted one?
I don't see where it's been incorrect before, do you?

The survivors had the potential to win with the sk and not with town, which I still maintain fulfills the reasoning without making us strictly anti-town.

Why do you think I would have that information, that's what we should be trying to figure out.

  • I'm beginning to think my suspicion that Silv is my nemesis was dead-on. Lynching the host might have been an over-arching objective to them the same way mine was getting 3 NLs.

They were the first to try and lynch the host, which suggests they knew it was a valid option, and that decision has decidedly worked against the town PRs like myself and Michi. You must die, Silv.

  • We have 13 hours left until EoD. If we don't choose correctly here that's probably very bad. I don't like the sound of the failsafe at all. If only one of us is lying and the wolves are a team and have already been messed with, I feel like that should discount the wolves (including myself) as an option. Please?
Only ONE of us is lying. Your theories are reliant upon more than one of us lying. I have yet to see this explained in your worldviews.

So they claim (or not? I don't recall if they've claimed anything at all). While being incredibly cagey with really important info.

  • I'll remain nameless, Vro. The only thing I'll offer, about me, is that I've never been mentioned in the flavor as far as I can tell (both pre-Neon yeet and post-Neon yeet).

The names, alone, probably won't solve finding the "one" person you're searching for, and I am not keen on just offering information broadly for you to use necessarily. After all, there is something to be said about a survivor pushing so hard for information for town. That is, I find it to be a fanciful fairy tale. Or, rather, what ulterior motive do you have?

And, no, Neon talking about "what makes wolves evil" to her bf =/= mafia aligned turning into town. Especially since the only roles you had were, apparently, vanilla-esque roles called "Wolf" that were town aligned before turning into survivors ala Lau.

Here is what I don't understand though as it doesn't add up:

If you guys were given vanilla roles called "Wolf" that were town aligned, then how did your fellow "Wolf" kill Arena due to Arena killing her? Because that doesn't sound very vanilla to me, savvy?

This is entirely NAI. You're pointing a lot of fingers without doing much actual hunting. Don't call your contradiction post hunting because it decidedly wasn't the hunting I know you can do.

I'm confirming them part of the wolf team, which is composed of the 4 girls.
Why is it important that you know this anyway? It relates to them not you, you could be equally suspicious of Mel.

    Uh huh.

I doubt it will solve anything, but I would like to start somewhere.

Lau had already succeeded and our roles had turned. Aren attacked Marz the night after the third No Lynch. Marz was no longer vanilla at that point.

  • The host just straight-up coming and giving the whole thread the instruction to kill the chief smacks of a falsehood. It would be completely against the spirit of the game for the host to specifically call out the remaining baddie. So my theory is that this, too, is a result of someone's ability, and that they're using it to redirect. Even if not true, I don't think anything about the host's actions should or can be taken at face value at this point anymore.

  • If I have to, I will lynch Dolby despite thinking he's town in self-preservation as a survivor, and I won't regret it. You all have a chance to do some actual helpful solving and the chance to consider alternatives. If you're already set on chopping who you want, what's the harm in looking elsewhere now?

Where did she say to kill the chief? Much like the way you took the result of your success, it's possible you're mistranslating what she said.
