  • I am now aware of Dolby being the police chief as well as the whole message saying it was the police chief or some such. On that note, since that is in the vein of corruption that was previously talked about, Dolby and Cin Min comprise an odd combination wrt to flavor/abilities.

I don't know/haven't read anything regarding Dolby's abilities as police chief though I am aware of the flavor that he covered for the SK (Arena). Cin Min has already acknowledged her ability may be the cause for the redactions for information reveals. And we know previously the coroner was prevented by (I believe) the mayor and police chief from revealing information.

Riddle me this: With the SK gone and the game not ended, we're obviously still looking for threats to the town, right? And given how threats to the town were described (ie. have or had potential to not win with the town) that would strictly indicate the former mafia members as they *had* potential to not win with the town. If not them, since they are the simplest answer, then who and why? Who as in any leads to believe in another threat being around (I don't buy the corruption faction threat flavor thing from earlier that someone mentioned -- a bit convoluted if you ask me).

  • If I might attempt to understand where Vro was coming from as someone who knows that Vro is who he claims to be, we were given the most boring, vanilla, annoying roles possible at the start of game. We were assigned the generic role "wolf", all four of us. Now, knowing Abbi, at least in my mind, that meant that there was going to be an alignment flip at some point in time, possibly upon the death of one of us. Vro possibly could have been trying to get killed off to unlock his full role and turn evil. Lau made that impossible, and now that it's been revealed who we are beyond "wolf", we are left to try and undo the messes made while expecting to turn evil. Vro is not the one you want to kill today, as it will only be depriving both him and yourselves of winning.

The way things were told to us after flipping survivor, there was no way for us to end the game as town as lynching anyone would have resulted in one of our deaths, turning all of us evil. Now we have the potential to win as town, and as there is only two options remaining, I'd rather win with town that watch you all decide to kill a survivor and lose, leaving me and unspecified third survivor to win with the corrupted one. There is no fun in helping the corrupted one win at the expense of our own.

  • These two posts contradict each other. You said you and Marz weren't in a group chat and started out as Town, so how would acting suspicious in any way work to your benefit pre-turn? I get the logic that being obvwolf paradoxically means you're obvtown post-Nl, but that's nonsense when you say you started out as Town, not scum. Secondly, how did you and Mel decide to throw your lot in with the SK "on the first night" if you were 1) Town, and 2) not in a group chat?

...I may be slow but I'm not that logically inconsistent... I was told that my ability was my vote, I asked if I could use it at night (sort of like a vigi shot) and was told not yet and that my role might evolve. (Upon reflection now that was probably a cheeky way to say I would indeed get a KP, in the case where Lau failed). I decided that in order to avoid dying off early I would try to stay out of the top town lists, so I acted in a NAI way which I knew might not do me any favors but would give me the potential for late-game. I had no idea that my role evolving meant I would switch alignments.

The implication is clearly the first night after the role flip, when we were able to chat. Maybe I wasn't clear enough but I think that should follow more clearly then an incomprehensible slip-up of that nature, what do you think of me smh.

I feel like that fact that we don't know anything about a notable portion of the players in this game while the wolves have been inadvertently open-wolfing since early on and the host-created flavor is dropping constant hints that everything is not as it seems while having confirmed that Lau definitely did something to the wolves might give some cause for concern that your scenario might not be the case here. I acknowledge your reasoning though.

What is your character name, please?

Unless you think Lau is both evil and teamed with me (unlikely as he seems to want my head) if doesn't quite make sense that if the host confirmed that he did something to us that we would turn from one evil faction into another. What would be the point of that, like at all?

  • We have 13 hours left until EoD. If we don't choose correctly here that's probably very bad. I don't like the sound of the failsafe at all. If only one of us is lying and the wolves are a team and have already been messed with, I feel like that should discount the wolves (including myself) as an option. Please?

  • The host confirmed there was a gimmick. Lau, for his part, went on record saying that he declawed, so to speak, the wolves. Not that he forced them to become town through his ability (although that was his impression early on).

Coupled with the clarification someone received about what constituted a threat to the town, I'd say it makes sense.

Lau doesn't have to be teamed with you for all that to make sense, Vro. Lau, early on, was certainly pinging me, but at this point where he's already achieved what he wanted, I've got no reason to assume he's anti-town now. That's steps ahead of where I'd place you, Silver, and Aers.

Now, as it stands, you're pushing for finding someone even though you don't know who that someone is. Not only that, but the reason for this someone is because of the flavor that was generated after lynching Neon, yes?

Our roles were called a wolf but we were clarified to that we were town. Wolf, not mafia.

  • So someone just became the corrupted one upon the removal of Neon, am I getting this right?

You kept pushing for Neon originally, Silver. Are you the corrupted one?

  • I also don't buy this "honour among thieves" thing you guys have going on if you're a group of connected survivors. You have literally no incentive to win together. And you say you wanna win with Town, yet you're STILL withholding some information, like what led to your speech restriction, which is 100% anti-town.

  • And that's assuming that the flavor from the post yeeting of Neon is in anyway correct in this bastard game.

And that still doesn't resolve you guys necessarily, unless you are taken at your word. Strictly speaking, you claim you were town at the start and turned survivor upon Lau's success. So you've never had the potential to not win with the town. If you're being honest, that is.

This all looks like a misdirect from where I sit, but hey, let's say you're being honest. Who is the corrupted one then? What makes someone the corrupted one?

  • And I'll echo Lau's sentiment on the withholding information.

Take Vro for instance. You asked for my character name for what reason? Do you have access to information that will help you sus out the corrupted one? Why do you have said information when you were just a wolf turned survivor? Especially if your roles, as Silver describes, were just vanilla.
