We have 15! That's technically enough, but I wouldn't mind closing the gap between the 22 we did in 2017 if anyone else is interested.

Interestingly my authority scale went up about 9 points since the last time I took the quiz, and my equality scale also went up a good 8 points as well.

Looking at a saved copy of some other 8values results, looks like I had some noticeable differences. Not entirely sure though.

Thanks for everyone's results. We ultimately got 19...almost as much as in 2017! You can see the raw data from all 3 surveys here.

As you can see, Wintreath drifted toward equality, liberty, and progress by a few percentage points. However, it leap-bounded on the global scale, going almost 10 points in that direction. In some cases, there was also a notable difference in some areas between people who took the 2017 or 2019 versions of the survey and people who are taking it for the first time, as you can see below. This suggests that when it comes to civil and social rights, newer members of our community may hold more moderate positions. It may also suggest that older members who held more moderate or conservative views left after feeling unwelcome to voice their views, a complaint that was raised several times in 2019 and 2020. However, the average for new members is still higher than the 2017 community average, suggesting that even our more moderate members tend to be less so than they were back then.

Near exactly what I wanted Ursia to be like. More to the Liberty side and more to National to 50%, but close enough.

Bringing this back since it's been a little over 2 years since the last result, so let's see how things have changed (My post has the new one edited in).

I'm a little more pragmatic in my politics these days, but since this quiz tends to ask more about ideals I don't think that really affected things much.

The more obviously reflected change is a small shift away from societal revolutionary, which I think comes from my experiences with AI making me more cautious, as well as greater awareness of how we got to the current situation with climate change.

The only stand-out change from 2022 is I shifted a bit further toward tradition. I don't even think my actual stances have changed, but I think I interpret tradition in general differently than I did. I always had a tendency to view tradition as backwards (easy to do when the other side is literally named progress lol), but I've come to realize that respecting traditions doesn't have to mean being a hinderance to progress. I found myself thinking on a few of the tradition questions that it's fine as an individual choice so long as it doesn't harm others or take away their choices or rights...it should be an individual choice. But I think the two can co-exist for the most part.
