Hello, my name is North. I have a question regarding the Discord Moderation in three parts.

First, is the current administration satisfied with the amount of activity from most of the operators? Several are more inactive then not, especially Hugism. I ask because, as most of the operators are inactive, it has been expressed to me that most people do not know who the operators are or what they do.

Second, is the administration satisfied with the capabilities of the discord operators? Do they know their powers and what is expected of them? Furthermore, what, specifically, is expected of them?

Finally, has the administration looked into actions to potentially alleviate these concerns and, if so, would the administration share what they decided with the public?

I'm glad to see someone's decided to ask this because I've been concerned about this for some time. It doesn't exactly bode well that there's even a question as to who the operators are. In the time I've been here, I've only seen two or three operators actively participate in any capacity. I'd really like to know if/how this is being addressed.

I would also like to know this right meow. Or rather on Saturday. That would also be purrfurable.

Anyway, personally, I am completely unaware of what these operators do exactly. Like, are they manning a proverbial phone switchboard? Or are they more of the smooth style operators? Are they spooks, operating under assumed names and identities? Who are these people? (Well, besides Wuu and Crushita, they're good people. I mean, if they're actually people. Could these operators be advanced AI robots from the future? I mean... who of us could truly say?!)

For real, though, I have no idea about these operators at all. Are they similar to the Ops of the olden IRC days?

Please, please tell me us. From a mother to a mother, I beg of you.

They seem to be shudders moderators.

It did not take me long to figure out the ones that were operators when I joined were Wuufu, Hugsim, HannahB, and Nox.  More recently Pengu and Crushita were also made Operators.  I actually hadn't noticed Hugsim's inactivity but yeah that is kind of obvious now and interesting.  Something must have happened irl.
