1. Title
  1.1 This shall be called the Right of Repeal Amendment.
2. Provisions
  2.1 This shall add Article VIII - Repealing the Fundamental Laws
  2.2 Article VIII section 1 shall read, "Repealing or invalidating the fundamental parts or any singular part of
       the fundamental laws shall be considered an amendment to the fundamental laws and shall be treated 
       as such.”

I really don't see the need for this. Repealing the Constitution is, in essence, unconstitutional. By repealing the document, we are violating the rights granted to the citizens of Wintreath under said Constitution.

This is a vote, not a debate.

However, I feel that this addresses the issue of repealing the Fundamental Laws by making it harder to achieve. Although I think the root-cause of this amendment is an obvious no-threat, it's worth considering in the case of take-over.

The Chair wishes to remind The Honourable Weissreich that any form of debate on this belongs in the debate topic. The Chair also wishes to note that any votes of "Nay" are allowed a short summary of why they are against the bill, as requested by the citizens of Wintreath last term.

With 4 in support, and 1 against, the vote has achieved the supermajority required to pass. It will now go to the Overhusen for a supermajority vote.
