'What', you, the enlightened citizen who reads such literally inflammatory and incendiary tracts as this ask yourself, 'is
WOAH'?
WOAH, or 'Wintreath-Open-Assembly Heckling', is my campaign platform for this election.
You may notice one of the major key words there: heckling. Indeed, it's come to my attention that, since Chanku is running in this election and will likely be elected by virtue of her staggering seniority, that none of the legislation I propose will pass because Chanku has
shot down,
ignored, or
completely denied the merits of any legislation or motions I have attempted to pass, or holes I in a former capacity as a citizen noticed and suggested patching in the last case.
(Incidentally, it should be noted that since that's the sum total of even my legislative-adjacent activity, I have
clearly not attempted to pass a whole lot of legislation)
Therefore, instead of doing any of that tedious business of governing, I shall instead spend the entire session introducing frivolous motions to have the UH declare itself unconstitutional, 'filibustering' debate with extremely tangential notions about an Open Assembly proposal, and
actively campaigning for the third iteration of this petition for the next electoral cycle.
I, like you, Informed Voter, should have no illusions about what my effectiveness as a member of the UH will be (minimal to none). However, I also have no illusions about what the overall effectiveness of the UH
currently is (minimal to none), and therefore have no problems with stymieing what little it ever tries to do with political theater and my usual
zany antics.
