So I got bored, and decided to make a map showing the furthest I've been in each cardinal direction, as well as highest and lowest elevation. I decided to go by east and west from my place of birth, rather than by coordinates (since using Hawaii and Japan for west and east would imply I've traveled all over the world).
I also found that my trans-Pacific flights took me over the Aleutian islands. While this is interesting, I never saw the Aleutians, so I decided to ignore flying.
So, here are my coordinates for my box:
Furthest north: Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada 49.079422, -113.962505
By air: Unimak Island, Alaska: 54.839253, -163.951450Furthest south: Ka Lae, Hawaii: 18.911010, -155.681322
Furthest east: Cocoa Beach, Florida: 28.312817, -80.607554
By coordinates: Kessenuma Coast, Miyagi, Japan: 38.907024, 141.652085Furthest west: Iwakuni Station, Yamaguchi, Japan: 34.172019, 132.225311
By coordinates: Off the Napali Coast, Kauai, Hawaii: 22.117602, -159.738301Highest elevation (excluding flights): Pike's Peak, Colorado: 14,115 feet (4,302 m)
Lowest elevation (excluding nothing): Death Valley Furnace Creek Visitor Center: 190 feet (58 m) below sea level
Which gives me this nice little box:

Spent my whole life in that box. :/
So, where are the edges of your box? Leave a comment below, and I'll try to make a map for you!
