Turn 5
Gerrick 1: Connect the suitcase's power cable into the outlet.
You arrange the suitcase’s plugs nearer to the outlet, then drag the power cable up and into the socket. Nothing happens, at first, but then you turn the outlet on. The suitcase starts humming.
...Why would it do that? It already has some power in it, given the flashing lights. Maybe it’s secretly a vacuum cleaner.
Gerrick 2: Connect the RCA connector to the TV.
Likewise, you pull out the cables and connect them to their respective points on the TV’s front.
The static abruptly flickers. It shunts into, momentarily, a black screen. After several long seconds it slowly fades into white, brightening the room as it does, leaving three rows of words visible.
>[PUZZLES]
[HINTS]
[ESCAPE]
You aren't sure what or why the suitcase made the TV do that. Through some experimentation you figure out that the TV remote lets you navigate up and down the different options. Presumably, selecting them does different things.
Gerrick 3: Flip the light switch back off.
Let there be darkness. The lamp light is still on and the TV casts a faint light from the opposite corner of the room, making the room relatively bright.
El Fiji Grande 1: Type 'watch' into the bedside drawer keypad.
You go to the five-letter keyboard and type “WATCH.” Nothing appears to happen.
El Fiji Grande 2: Enter '1230' as the bathroom passcode. (these are the missing numbers from the telephone).
You type “1230” into the bathroom’s keypad. Nothing appears to happen.
...Sorry, what?
El Fiji Grande 3: IF #2 does not work, try '0123' as the bathroom passcode.
You type “0123” into the bathroom’s keypad. Nothing appears to happen.
You could've sworn these numbers have something to do with it. Why else would the telephone be missing those numbers? No, this has to be the right set of numbers. But what order do they go in?
(And we are back! I may or may not have been debating between giving hints for free or waiting for you to unlocked the actual hint mechanism. Ah well. As I've tried to "subtly" imply, you have the correct numbers but the wrong order. I'm sure you can logic it out... or brute force it, there's only 24 combinations available after all. Good luck!)
