What are your most played games? Maybe this will help us to find more games to play together, or at least spark conversation. Mine are:

I'm just curious how @Wintermoot didn't make the sunglasses emoticon appear for #8. (North's lack of a space is obvious, but Wintermoot's seems to just be admin magic.)

And I do, just not much, to the point where I've never had the need to get Steam. I would play more, but while I do have free time, it's usually in short 20-40min periods instead of the longer ones needed for playing most games. (And then when the longer free time periods do roll around, I usually just end up continuing whatever I was doing before...) Hence why I generally prefer games that have commitment over longer time periods than a short but uninterrupted period of time (eg: Freeciv Longturn, Werewolf, long-term Diplomacy vs. Civ V, League).

Civ can be an absolute grinder, especially in multiplayer, but I've always thought of League as a deconstructed MMORPG. You have all the things people like about MMOs like leveling, purchasing stronger items, and PvP but without the days, weeks, or months of grinding. It's probably so popular in part because you can fit a game if you have an hour to spare.

But not having Steam in this day and age...o. m. g.

Right, but you still need an hour to spare. Take the hour-long documentary I watched yesterday (ironically, about a video game): I watched 10 minutes the night before, 10 minutes before doing homework, 10 minutes during a homework break, 10 minutes during a second break, and 10 minutes after finishing homework. Can't do that with League.

Why so little time?

Just have a fairly busy workload is all. If I really wanted to, I'm sure I could find the time to do some gaming, but it's just not what I do.

...I like to multitask, and games aren't exactly conductive to multitasking. I should play more games. Eventually.

1. Dota 2 (I feel so helpful playing a support character. Even when mean people complain about losing. Which is all the time in Dota-like games.)
2. Civilization V (Had to get all those achievements. And that's the full name of the game as far as I'm concerned.)

4. Skyrim Special Edition (There isn't even a difference on PC other than slightly better water effects, but I'll play it again, sure. Combined this would have been #1. And I don't even use mods.)
5. Total Warhammer
6. Terraria
7. Galactic Civilizations III
8. King's Bounty: Crossworlds
9. Secret World Legends
10. Endless Legend
