I'm a regular at taverns throughout many games, and what I've come to realize is that many of them have tavern songs for people to drink to! Our tavern here in Wintreath doesn't have one, so I thought maybe someone would like to do a tavern song for it!

For the next week (thru August 24th), you can enter the contest and submit your tavern song...it can be something you sing, or just lyrics. It can also be original or based on a song elsewhere (like offline or a game), so long as it's not an exact copy. For the remainder of the festival, we will then vote on the best song, and the person that made the best one will win.

Evening, lads and lasses. I've got an option for our here songs 'n dance. It's named after the Raintrix -- a pretty little flier, that. Course it only pops up once in the tune, but who cares aye? The total title's the Raintrix Flight. Feh. I'm damn sure those birds aren't gonna let about anyone hop on their backs, but again, who cares? What you might care 'bout is how half the song went missing. Only got the first half, ye-see?

How I know? Well, 'cause the base of the song's a thing by Mike Bridge... something called Halfling Camp? That there has another chunk of verses to Raintrix Flight's few, and it cuts off after the first chorus. Most only know the chorus, so that no loss.

So to prevent there from being only one entry, I decided to come up with a quick and easy song. It's based off the Green Dragon song from the Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King.

Also, I wasn't sure exactly which tavern we're making a song for, but I assumed it's the Frostbite Tavern. And I've underlined the down-beats.
