Name: Halvor Stigsson
Race/Age/Sex: Nord/55/Male
Appearance:
Bio: Raised in the middle of a forest by his parents, Halvor had a simple childhood. His parents taught him how to use a bow to hunt and defend himself as well as how to use herbal ingredients to create healing potions and harmful poisons. Sadly, one morning when Halvor was only 12, he woke to find both of his parents gone. He searched everywhere within half a day's walk from his hut, but could not find them. The grieving and hopeless Halvor, not knowing what to do, huddled in his hut and waited for his parents to come back home. They never did.
One day, a group of Knights of the Griffin Order were in search of shelter, happened across the hut, and found the nearly lifeless Halvor inside. When the Elven leader of the group decided that the boy was too far gone to try to save, one of the Knights, who was also a Nord, took it upon himself to try to nurse Halvor back to life, which he succeeded in doing. The next day, as they were readying to leave, the leader gave the broken boy the option to come with them and join the Order, which he reluctantly accepted.
Halvor was taken back to a Griffin Order settlement and became a squire. He helped the Knights with menial work and performed manual labor for years before he was given the option to finally hold a weapon. He instinctively grabbed a bow and impressed his trainers with how well he could shoot. Eventually, Halvor was fully made a Knight and went out with others to patrol roads and protect the people.
Decades have gone by, and Halvor has long understood that he has advanced in the Order as far as he ever will. He can't remember how many of his fellow Nords have had to be put back in their place by their Elven overlords. Though he never really believed in what the Order was doing, by now he has become even more jaded. Regardless, his archery and alchemy skills are useful to the Order, and he has nowhere else to go, so he begrudgingly follows orders and keeps himself out of trouble.
