Oh, we'll find a way.

Maybe all of the beauty contestants will represent real NS regions, and the judges will be a game admin, Violet, and Max Barry.

So with the Mafia Championship going on, I was thinking rather than doing our big one right now, we do a smaller one so that we can also support Evelynx in the competition, and then hold our big double/triple elimination one once the Championship is over.  Thoughts?

I think it sounds like a great idea.

Yeah, that sounds good to me as well. Do we have any takers to host it?

If not, I'd be willing to host a bare-bones game with just the four basic roles (seer, defender, werewolves, and villagers), but the difference in this game is that people will be allowed to hint at and make claims about what their roles are, though they won't be able to show actual evidence (i.e. PMs from the host).

If we want a significantly shorter game, we could also try playing (possibly several rounds of) One Night Ultimate Werewolf.

Actually...I may or may not have been suggesting it since I have ideas for a game I'd like to host.

But you know, ulterior motives and all.

And I wouldn't necessarily say "shorter," as the normal month-long period is fine.  It just wouldn't be on the normal grand scale that we do when we try to top the previous games with some new twists and turns.

It could be on a smaller scale, more basic, actually going back to basics if anything.

Or it could be on a grand scale if we chose, we just don't want it to interfere with overshadowing the championships since we want to be supporting that and supporting our representative in the games.

Huh, good point.

Resistance and Avalon are longer term games, though since we'd be trying out a new game, that'd probably be better to do outside Summersend.

You know, I just realized that Resistance was one I never saw brought here.  At least that I remember.

I remember it being a blast to play on XKI, but I never understood it completely to where I felt comfortable bringing it here.

Have you ever tried One Night Ultimate Vampire? They do an interesting thing where they make the Vampires a separate faction with the ability to turn other players into vampires at night.

Hmm, that would be great. Then we can actually have one with three different factions, again. Townies and demon hunters vs vampires vs demons, in honour of Penny Dreadful.
