Continuing with the Lawful Good (even though it would seem that that was the "wrong decision" last time but whatever):

Why do we always seem to choose the same one BSR?

[1] Fire the trainee for gross misconduct

I actually don't like the options presented in this one...if it were me, I would call him in and confront him and see if he could explain himself. The situation presented is that the trainee is receiving large sums of money from MMC's customers, but it's not conclusively stated that these are bribes, or even that they're unethical or inappropriate. It's simply implied from the anonymous letter and the options allowed that they are.

But the options being what they are, we know that some anonymous person is watching this trainee and would likely know if Billy got involved in the scheme as well, putting him in risk of being reported to his own higher-ups. Doing nothing would at best be negligent, and probably wouldn't make a great impression on someone in their first management role if it were to become known that he sat on this information.

So things being what they are, I choose the first option.

Now, to the problem at hand. If it were up to me, I would choose to fire the trainee. The other options have waaaaay worse consequences if we're wrong than firing one employee. It would be better if we had more details, but... we don't.

Aaaaand it took me about two minutes to track down. Thankfully, it did hit the carpet one-face-up and my frantic shifting of boxes did not disturb the number.

Billy heads down to confront the trainee but upon asking him if he's been getting kickbacks he just says he "doesn't know anything about any money"...

Way I see it he is either lying here if so the moral thing to do is to fire him, or he is telling the truth and in that case the moral thing to do would be to ignore the situation.

That's how I see it at least.
