Billy really likes this hands-on job he's gotten, so he takes the job as [4] Lead Assembler. After all, who doesn't want to pretend to be an assembly robot all day?

I feel like that most fits his education in math and business, plus there's more room for advancement, especially at the regional HQ.

I didn't even think about Billy's last name. He did go against his heritage. We need some potatoe missionaries to teach him better.

I'm going with [3] Trainee Finanical Analyst...if the industry is in a slump it would benefit Billy to develop a diverse set of skills he can use to move up in the company...or transfer to other skills if this whole computer thing ends up just being a fad. I think that might actually be the point... It's sort of implied that Harriet Nance isn't very fond of Billy.

Billy was waiting for this opportunity for a long time. As a trainee financial analyst [3], he will have a chance to keep an eye on his favourite stocks (Campbell's and Chicken). The voices in his head are fighting again and while billy would quite like to be a salesman (going door-to-door, preaching the word of his dark masters and selling soup alongside his job) He feels like this position means he will not be throwing his vote away, wait, what vote? Is this really Billy, or just one of the voices occupying his mind? And why are they voting? Why does he suddenly feel very Nordic?

Billy decides to soothe his nerves with a bowl of Campbells© Tomato soup [available now on amazon pantry]. Now he's making more money, he can buy more soup. Soon no-one will stand in his path to power and soup.

Billy calls the personnel team and says he would like to accept the position of Trainee Financial Analyst. Only a week later and he has a new office, the regional MMC Headquarters; this building is where the local sales, marketing, accounting and finance teams are all based. Billy's new department is the smallest, located on the fourth floor, finance is charged with keeping track of the stocks, value and corporate mentality of MMC, it's partners, it's competition and the market as a whole; their job is to take this information and provide the best course of action to the other departments and management.

It seems Billy is currently the only Trainee joining them this year, the department is directly overseen by the Regional Director of Finance: Cary Hoffman who has a large office at the back corner of the fourth floor... Billy however has a desk a phone with access to the WATS line and an odd picture of the present company chairman Malcolm Farnsworth.

New Employee Status Form

About 2 months into the job and Billy has spent most of the time answering the phone and talking to traders, making coffee and fetching doughnuts. This day however something interesting happened when an old friend from Billy's business course Pat Ivers, walks in and greets him... Pat says he had heard Billy was working for MMC and that he has very useful information for him.

Apparently Pat has been working with Meld Design Co. a small component manufacturer in town, and only yesterday their engineers had a major breakthrough in circuit development, Pat says that MMC would benefit greatly from this...

What should Billy do?
[1] Recommend the acquisition of Meld Design Co.
[2] Not mention the information to anyone.
[3] Sit by and keep an eye on Meld, if it looks like another company makes a move then advise it's purchase

Ahem. Sorry, but keychains are wonderful creations. I was erm, mildly startled to see its absense on our perks. Might I enquire if the perks list is additional to our previous perks, or if the perks are replaced?

I would assume the latter from the repetition of "Own Desk // Two Week Vacation," yet I find it concerning that they would remove our keychain. The removal of our medical plan is likewise concerning.

Throws 1d6 in annoyance at the floor, then rushes to fetch it from where it bounced under the bed.

Not sure if this is the best choice (his standing in the financial department doesn't seem very high, so he may not have the adequate influence), but hopefully this helps gain him some greater respect and reputation.
