Roughly paraphrased it's a... hmm, I don't quite know how to encapsulate it simply. It's a portfolio that my company presents to an aspect of the British government advising them on certain issues. This one focuses mainly on eco-security.

It entirely depends on what sort of body modification you're talking about. If you mean tattoos, piercings etc my view is whatever someone wants to do let them do. If you're talking augments etc, then I'm very pro-augmentation.

Coke, all that needs to be said is Pepsi has changed it's branding more than 8 times since its creation, Coca Cola hasn't changed it once. Because they don't have to. Because their brand is better.

Biomechanical enhancements, carbonite bone structure, perhaps muscle-fibre... Augments are non-natural alterations made to a human body to vastly improve performance, endurance, healing factor etc.

To some extent, yes. I've always been fascinated with an entity created by Alastair Reynolds, called the "Spirit of the Air" - a human being who moves his consciousness into huge earth-bound computers, and as technology advances shifts to smaller and smaller computers until all of his components are macroscopic particles floating free. That'd be chill.
