I stand corrected.

I should point out that green only means you've made one or more posts a day more than you did the previous month...any stat 0.00 or above is usually good, even if it's yellow. Yellow is pretty much stable.

 It was my  goal to do so XD

As the month has gone by, I wondered why the infamous NationStates summer lull seemed to have minimal effect on our community, when I had watched it ravage Spiritus last July when I was president there. When I compiled the numbers, I got my answer: new and returning members. In fact, other than Amalaya all members in the green zone either joined or returned this month, and they're the main reason Wintreath didn't fall victim to the summer lull this month at least. We were very lucky that so many people wanted to join our community and apparently enjoyed it enough to stick around.

Amalaya should also be commended for bucking the trend amongst existing members, and contributing to our region in many, many ways through her posts and more. And everyone...I know it was a trying month with vacations and trips going on.

But now we move on into August...traditionally, the summer lull lasts through late September, so we are hardly out of the woods yet. This month proves the importance of attracting new Citizens and members and not relying on a small cadre of super-posters for activity, even though it is also important that we keep building on our regional culture and activities to give both new and established members new things to do here on our forums. It's promising that we had such a good month when we should have had a pretty bad month, but we must continue to work to make sure we keep this up in the months ahead.

Yay! I topped the list, with mostly useful posts!

Now I can cross that off my bucket list. Let's see if I can go for two in a row
