Erik as secretary of the Underhusen prepares the copies of a bill that has hit his desk.  he has made copies for the other members of the Underhusen and is having it sent to all of them.  Included in this packet is a copy of the bill, a date and time for the Underhusen discussion, and an explanation that a Commerce bill is coming to follow upon the passing of the banking bill.

The Bill reads as follows:

I. Regional Treasury - The control over the regional treasury is given directly to the monarch of the region.  The monarch is in control of appointing a Jarl and Thane of the department.

II. Banking staff
   A. Office of the President - The president shall be in charge of overseeing all of the daily functions of the regional bank. The president shall, also, work in unison with the Wintreath Treasury on setting the interest rates for savings accounts and keep watch on the printing of regional currency, the Krone.

  B.  Office of the Vice President - The vice president shall help facilitate the duties of the president, in addition to monthy audits of the banks accounts and transactions.  This also includes investigating and discrepencies.

  C.  Other staff - Other staff is under the direction of the president.  There can be bankers and loan officers.  Bankers will be responsible for general maintence of the accounts. Loan officers shall be in charge of servicing and collecting on loans that are made through the bank.

II.  Operations
  A. Savings Accounts - Savings accounts shall be serviced and maintained monthly. The interest rate shall be set by the president of the bank and the Wintreath treasury.  This shall be added to the accounts quarterly. 

  B. Loans - Loans and their requirements shall be governed by the officers of the bank.  These requirements and interest on the loans shall be available for public knowledge.

  C.  The bank name - The name of the bank shall be decided by public nomination and vote.

This is a banking bill only.  There is a bill coming for governing the commerce of the region.  The commerce will outline the buying and selling of goods and services that one may wish to provide.

I guess my first problem with this bill is that I have no idea how the Krone system will even work. Like, how does one obtain Krone? How is it stored? Is the Krone built into the website, or do you have some other ideas? How does one "print" the Krone? This bill is rather useless without all of its component parts as I have no idea what I am supposed to be examining or debating.

Eldarion, I di understand you concern with this not having other parts.  We are orking on the Commerce Bill with will have those written into them. I can tell you that, to answer your questions, that one will be given a starting amount of Krone that will be built into the website.  The Treasury will work with the president of the bank to determine the "printing" of money.

This bill is necessary to be in place before we can have the Commerce Bill ready to introduce.  I do apologize that it may have been confusing, but I believe it imperative that The Treasury and Bank be in place, before we can start the idea of commerce.

Greetings. Just a heads-up on something...actually, the government can't require administration to add anything to the website. I know that Chanku had already raised this issue with Lord Belmont, who I think you're working on this with, and he mentioned that the system wouldn't require any website changes.

Though of course, adminstration can add something if it decides it's a good idea.

Is anything to come from this? Also I'm pretty sure we've overstepped a multitude of time limits by now
