Hi everyone!

As you may have noticed, a few threads that were in other forums and sub-forums have been moved to here recently, and you might (or might not) have wondered why. A couple of days ago, Alterra mentioned on the RMB that he was writing a sci-fi that would never reach bookshelves instead of writing papers, and I joked that while it might not show up on regular bookshelves, it could maybe become part of a Library of Wintreath. Wintry liked the idea of a Wintrean library, and we discussed the idea via telegram. The creation of this sub-forum is the result.

The idea is that this sub-forum is geared towards writing and sharing stories of any kind, whether it be Wintrean lore, satire, fiction, short treatises and essays, or even stories about in-forum characters and their nations. In a way, I see this as a means of integrating all that had already been written about the history and the culture of Wintreath in the forums in one place and then working to expand on those, hence why those threads were moved here.

This is a very open-ended idea, however, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions about it!

That's exactly the gist of it! It's great to see so many ideas and so many people showing interest in it... the more the merrier!

I like the idea of the regional newspaper too, and even national ones - it's something I hadn't given thought to before but it's a great idea!

Another shout out goes to Weissreich, who's doing an excellent job in creating a lot of locations around Wintreath - I only wish I was half as creative as he is

Magazines also tend to be availabe in libraries, as well as popular comic books.

I think your factbook stories would fit perfectly here.  Just make sure everything is ready to post before you post it -  no typos, story is how you want it, etc.  It would be neat if you were to present them as chapters of a book, or some old storytelling hermit, or something like that.  Be creative, but they're your stories, so do what you want.
