Some of the oldies in the region may be familiar with the Summersend Festival, which we ran last August to great success. I am interested in having the festival again this year, but with the state of the Cabinet as it is I will need help from the community to put it together...basically, we need really good ideas on what to do for the festival, and then people that are willing to run these things during. If we can get our stuff together, I'd like to have the festival between August 19-28.

Anyone interested? This is last year's festival for anyone interested in seeing what it's about.

August 14 - Invitations to foreign regions get sent out. @Emoticonius, could you do us the honour of writing an invite? I think you would do much better at this than me.

August 17 - Festival opens for forum game pre-registration (Spyfall, Nomic, Clue, Werewolf?). @xXTheHydraXx and Emoticonius, this means you guys have to have things planned and at least a sign-up topic created by this point.

August 19 - General festival opens. At this point all other festival topics should be up and ready to go, and hopefully we can get the forum games started on that day too. I plan on opening the festival with a speech.

August 28 - Festival closes. Forum games may run past this point until they reach their conclusion.

@xXTheHydraXx @BraveSirRobin - What we really need at the moment are ideas...what would you like to see? What would you be interested in running or starting? I linked last year's festival for inspiration.

We could do Spam Points and Corrupt a Wish, I suppose.  I think those were most popular from last time...

Do colour me interested! I think we can do a 'Ask [Insert Well-Known/Infamous Individual Here] Anything' thread. Also, we could run a bar, invite people from other regions and have them chat, methinks.
