I motion to extend debate for 48 hours.

I motion to extend for 72 hours. 48 hasn't been enough for us to even begin formatting and collating evidence into the act, and I see no reason another 48 would allow us to do so effectively. I'd rather we had longer, but it seems some of us want only 48 hours, so this is a compromise.

I'm going to second Weiss' motion, to give us as much time as possible to bring all the evidence into the act.

I guess I'll agree on the formatting purposes, even though I think 48 hours is sufficient enough time for him considering the time he's already had and not utilized.

But for purposes of wanting the bill to look its best in getting its point across effectively and whatnot, I guess I'll third Weiss' motion.

I fourth Weiss. If that is a thing.

The motion to extend debate as described above was retroactively passed as of 14 April, 11:25am CDT. I apologize for the delay.

I also changed the name of this thread to avoid confusion with the thread in the Chamber Commons.

Should we consider Hannah's draft to be the current version? 

And how do we want to include the evidence?  I don't think its wise to put the whole logs in there, but maybe a sentence or two identifying the parties involved and briefly surmising how it relates to the revocation?

Seriously guys, if you see any problem whatsoever with the bill, now's the time to speak up.

Personally, no.  He was given a deadline, and he still has time during the voting period to get his statement up.

But if someone else thinks he should get more time, then I'll concede and follow suit.

When exactly does the extension expire?

I believe it already has.

According to Barnes, the motion was passed on April 14th at 11:45AM CDT (It'd be 1AM CDT right now).

From then to the 15th at that time ---> 1 day
From that time on the 15th to the 16th ----> 1 day
From that time on the 16th to today -------> 1 day

So North is correct.  It's 12 hours past the end of the extension, so either a vote to vote, extend debate a second time, or table has to be made.
