Well for nations, it could be Political/Government Style and Dominant Religion, since both are pretty key things for a nation.

This would also, indirectly, solve the problem of people changing their names and no one having any clue who a particular person is. So I am definitely in favour of this.

For Character: Race if non-human or other.
For Nation: Leader, whatever the governement. And language.

In terms of the House RP that'll be starting soon, I think name, age, home city and similar fields wouldn't go too amiss. Are you planning on adding a whole new page for this, or would it be a user field under your name in your posts? Or would it be both, and clicking the RP name under someone's profile in their posts takes you to a new page with all their IC character details?

It could work out as both.  Have the basics (home city, race, etc...) on the current list, and then have that and other bits including the more precise stuff (history, about, etc...) in a new profile or as an add on in the current profiles.

I love this idea, mostly because I have two nations I want to RP as, but certain nations don't fit certain era themes, like how Yaim Rusur is primarily modern and futuristic, but doesn't fit into the medieval/fantasy era while another one of my nations is very medieval based and can sorta be a modern nation with medieval views, but fits in better to a fantasy era RP. You have my full support

I would suggest the name, history, Leaders/governmental important people, oh and compatible eras like medieval, modern, etc.

Simple stuff for the individual profiles ( Name Age House Rank in military Etc) The country should be most specific (Countries history, name, previous names etc.)

What fields should we have for nations besides history?

Ideology? Geography?
