Openings for ambassadors to the region of Terrene is available!

What does an Ambassador do?
Ambassadors are the links between our region and other regional communities. They check up on our embassies and consulates in their assigned regions once in awhile, post releases to their embassies, and return any information that concerns Wintrean interests or is relevant in any other way. Being an ambassador is not a major time commitment, but you will need to be willing and able to register on your assigned region's forum and check up on our embassies there a few times a week.

Since there was so much interest in the being an ambassador the last time, I'm going to add something to the application. If you're interested in being assigned this region, please post here with one idea to make our embassies in other regions special and set them apart from other embassies that they have. Preference will be given to new ambassadors and ambassadors with fewer assignments, but those with great ideas will not be forgotten either.

EDIT:

one thing I will do is have a question and answer thread, so they can get to know me as an ambassador and the region as well.

I will also post special threads that we have in our region over in our embassy if permitted, like special game threads.

Additionally, in addition to the dispatches, I will create a thread where people can offer ideas to foment cooperation, like culture festivals and such.

I would like to as well, and in order to follow the request: I'm pretty sure we would already be different from their already existing embassies

However we could probably invite them to regional events and also hold a few AMA's for government people there

I would like to put my name forward as a potential ambassador.

I would support involving our roleplay in the embassy, posting our werewolf game and the other roleplays every weekend.

@North, the posting is yours. Out of curiosity though, how would you involve our games and RP in the embassies? Writing articles about them or something more involved?

Thank you, Wintermoot, I won't let you down. And I was thinking of either having the RPs copied and pasted on their forum or if it takes to much space I would provide links. Probably the first one.

In all likelihood, this is once more your status as a pariah making it nigh-impossible to assign you.

EDIT: And @ North, it's probably best to do the latter. You can advertise the RPs very nicely, though.

@Wintermoot ?  Is Laurentus's estimate assessment accurate?

There were practical reasons for choosing North...he has never been an ambassador before, while you have not only been, but have been removed from some assignments for inactivity in the past. Your record on its own does not speak in your favour, especially against people that have never been an ambassador before.

However, I won't lie...it's extraordinarily difficult to place you in a region, and at times doing so in the past has caused conflict with the region that you were to be sent to, most recently with Brotherhood of Shadows. Considering that Terrene is a newer region and it is not clear whether they would welcome you or not, it seems best to send someone that they will unequivocally have no objections too, as a diplomatic courtesy.
