Yes to all three. As you know, the Laurentians are always looking to expand. What better way to do that than have a diplomatic presence in each nation they plan on eventually taking?

Just in case that sounds way too sinister, military occupation isn't really our thing.

Also guys, I have been insanely busy. I really would appreciate people slowing down a bit. It is regrettable, but my current job is most busy at this time of year.

  Assuming it's a bit larger than the Milky Way, approximately 1400 light-years by 1400 light-years.  Each little box being 1,960,000 square light-years, I'd say.  Is this about right, @taulover?
